Three years since his last win and remains a frustrating character despite several near misses in recent times. Currently on a career lowest mark and has gone close over C&D before but not one for maximum faith, especially under top weight.
Lost his way last season but hinted at a return to form on debut for his new trainer at Kempton nine days ago. The gelding is on a competitive mark and his solitary previous career win came at this course; worth considering if supported.
A consistent type but is yet to win on turf (0-5) and needs to dramatically step up from his previous form away from synthetics. However, he seems to have thrived since joining his current yard so could still be a player if he adapts.
Has some scope for improvement but needs to conclusively prove her stamina will hold out over this trip. Still, she may have more to offer in what will be a third outing after a long break; worth a betting check at least.
Hinted at ability but did lack a change of gear in his latest start. Now up in trip for his handicap debut but the fitting of an eye shield suggests he might not be the most straightforward character. The betting can guide.
Three runs over 6f were modest efforts but the filly showed a lot of promise when upped to this distance for her handicap debut at Windsor last month. She's due to go up 6lb in future handicaps so now looks a good time to put her to the test.
Yet to flourish since joining his current yard and experiments with headgear are yet to see a return; now tries a tongue tie combined with cheekpieces in an effort to revive his fortunes, but is hard to recommend after finishing last twice in a row.
Modest form up to press and his patchy record from his completed starts is off-putting (the time he got stuck in the stalls after rearing as the gates opened can now safely be ignored since he passed a stalls test). Others hold stronger claims.
Placed at this level on the AW back in February but failed to build on that effort in both starts since. Made little impression when tried back on turf last time out and comes here with a bit to prove now.
Not much to find at this level if able to repeat the effort he posted at Windsor last month; a visor was reapplied that day in a move which was instrumental in an improved display. Retains the headgear and holds solid place claims if on his A-game.
Gelded after three moderate performances last year but created the impression that the penny has dropped with a solid run at Redcar (1m2f, good) late last month; the stronger test of stamina obviously suited and possible there's more to come now.

ROCK OF FAME is an obvious starting point after a much improved effort on her handicap debut last month. She's due for a 6lb rise in future handicaps so the relatively quick reappearance is a logical move. Marie's Gem also appreciated a stronger test of stamina last time out and he too can make this a good test for the rest. other the others: Diva Kareem needs to prove her stamina will hold out but has shown enough promise to merit an interest for a place in the frame; while Pilot Wings is another who can go close if he copes with the switch to racing on turf again. Global Agreement has little to find and completes the shortlist.
