The progressive gelding RUSSIAN DIAMOND can continue in good form here. The Emmet Mullins-trained six-year-old followed up solid efforts in a Galway bumper and on maiden hurdle debut at Down Royal in December when finishing second of nine runners in a Naas novices' contest when last seen in February. The biggest threat may come in the shape of Recent Revelations, last seen finishing in the frame in the Fred Winter at the Cheltenham festival in March. Rewritetherules for trainer J J Hanlon and the Jessica Harrington-trained Barrington Court should not be underestimated.
