Fairly mixed fortunes (3PF7) in point-to-points for Mouse Morris; switches to hurdles off a 416-day absence for rules (& stable) debut; others with far less to prove at present.

Kept on well in the closing stages when winning a Dundlak maiden (1m4f) for John James Feane in late 2019; hasn't a great deal of miles on the clock as he switches to a hurdles campaign for Suzi Best; place chance.
Nathaniel gelding (5,000gns yearling); faded in the home straight on debut in a Huntingdon bumper (1m5½f, good) last October; essentially very difficult to swoon over now switched to hurdling.
Sole Flat win for Andrew Balding came at prohibitive odds at Newcastle (1m4½f) in March 2019; makes his first start over jumps (second overall) for the ever astute Dan & Harry Skelton; merits a basic market check.
Proclamation gelding; easy to back on debut (8-1) when finishing fifth of nine (to One True King) in a soft-ground Ludlow bumper (January 2020); hurdles debut with Richard Johnson in the plate.
Poor Flat maiden (0-7); raced far too freely when folding meekly on C&D hurdles debut 13 months ago; no real reason as to why a constructive case can be built regarding her chances; look elsewhere confidently.
First foal from a moderate dam (Perjury); receives weight-for-age fillies' allowance from all of her rivals; that said, is thought to be an unlikely candidate (unless market support arrives).

Seemingly the weaker of the two divisions of this novices' hurdle, and that augurs well that Olly Murphy can complete the double with the returning SANGHA RIVER. This ex-Irish pointer can be regarded as unfortunate not to remain unbeaten under rules - the gaps didn't arrive until too late when a fast-finishing second on the AW (bumper) at Lingfield 863-days ago. He switches to a hurdles career at a realistic level, and given his lengthy absence from the track could offer more value at the prices than the Paul Nicholls-trained Ashutor, who has a solid level of previous hurdles form (125-rated) and was thought good enough to compete on the Flat at Royal Ascot a fortnight ago.
