Fair hurdler. Makes his chasing debut having been successful off a 10lb lower mark over hurdles at Musselburgh (19.8f, soft) in February. Quirks evident in that win surfaced off this mark when last seen over hurdles, needs treating with caution.
One of three in the field that have run over fences (0-3), jumped poorly in the main, fell last time in this sphere. Sent hurdling since this will be her second change of stables (ran poorly for Graeme McPherson), doubts rule out of consideration.
0-8 over fences, remains with just one jumping win to his name over hurdles (1-11). Failed to back up a previous better effort when last seen underling the dubious nature of his chasing form overall (poor jumper), mark continues to tumble.
Better hurdler than chaser, often flatters to deceive over timber though and has yet to win a handicap. Jumped better than usual when last seen over fences but his overall profile is a disappointing one (jumping can't be trusted), had enough chances.
Not seen under Rules since May 2018 (third over hurdles at Towcester, jumped indifferently), won two point-to-points in the interim from five starts. Starts life with a new yard to make his chasing debut, unconvincing in last three pointing starts.
Won a juvenile hurdle at Fontwell (17.7f, good/soft) on second start for this yard (weak event), highly tried after that in 2018/19 season (not disgraced). Regressed in 2019/20, showed no enthusiasm (tried in headgear), looks quirky, chasing debut.
Runner-up sole start Irish point-to-points, form over hurdles (including in handicaps) rather modest, pulled-up when last seen. Has some decent chasing relations, may do better in this sphere off a career-low mark, note any market confidence.
Leading stable have yet to find the key with this one (0-11) although the handicapper now gives her a real chance after a substantial absence. Well below her best when last seen it will be interesting to see what the market makes of her chance.
Modest sort who managed to win a Cartmel handicap hurdle (22.1f, good) in July 2018 off today's mark. Failed to repeat that effort when last seen off a 7lb higher mark, not seen since, returns off a significant absence for chasing debut.
Pulled up sole start in point-to-points his form over hurdles didn't really take off despite managing a runner-up slot when last seen at Sedgefield (27f, heavy), never really going well. Makes his chasing debut, this trip looks on the short side.
One of two in the race for this yard its hard to muster much enthusiasm for his chance having been beaten 69L and 99L on his two completed novice hurdle starts. Goes chasing with cheekpieces on for the first time, desperately hard to make a case for.
Runner-up sole completed start in three Irish point-to-points, well held in bumpers and has yet to make much impact over hurdles (already dropped 8lb from open mark). Sent chasing off a lowly mark, he may do better in this sphere.

An inauspicious return for jumping in GB with only three of these having jumped fences under Rules and very few, if any, have a sound profile. Of those with chasing experience Oxwich Bay would be the best but his jumping is a worry and he’s had more than enough chances in this sphere. Nineohtwooneoh has a least won a race and despite fears about his quirks/demeanour he has to go on the shortlist making his chasing debut. It’s interesting that Dan Skelton has kept the faith with The Last Bar, she returns after 801 days off with the handicapper giving her a real chance. ELLE EST GRANDE is a very tentative suggestion off her lenient mark and her pedigree suggests she will be a better chaser.
