Didn't progress from promising debut at the Curragh (7f, yielding) in August last year; running a poor race over a mile here (soft) on third outing. Up in trip on return and finds a fairly weak maiden; contender.
Third on debut at Gowran Park (1m, yielding, soft in places) on debut this month and the front two have boosted that form since; was beaten 5L so will likely need to improve but possibilities are there to see.
Improving with racing; runner-up at Roscommon (1m2f, good to firm) this month in a maiden after 234-day absence (fifth won next time); was supported in betting there and should have a say once more with this not being overly strong.
Four-race maiden last year (5½f-1m) and failed to progress; back from a break and up in trip; could be more to come from this source and betting check advised.
Requinto colt, cost €18,000; decent event when fourth of seven beaten 4¾L on debut at Gowran Park (1m1½f, good) recently and may improve with Colin Keane a promising booking now.
Dutch Art gelding out of a Hurricane Run mare. Closely related to Mitchum Swagger, winner over 7f/1m; well held on debut at Roscommon (1m2f, good to firm) and a rare Flat runner for Gigginstown.
Second start and first for 241 days when showing improved form to be third of 14 beaten 4L in Tipperary maiden (7½f, yielding) recently; interesting upped in distance and Seamie Heffernan getting the leg up now.
Forecasts
Classify (7/4), Pugin (11/4), Aesop (7/2), Believe Jack (7/1), Loved Out (16/1), Sage Advice (18/1), Cursu Mina (28/1)
Not the strongest maiden and one in which Classify should hold strong claims. His debut second at Roscommon had plenty promise in it and there's likely improvement to come. BELIEVE JACK probably ran into a useful pair on debut at Gowran Park (form boosted by both since) and Ellmarie Holden's gelding can improve up in trip on second start and hold decent claims here. Loved Out and Pugin – a rare Gigginstown runner on the Flat these days – offered something to work with on their first starts and also rate as possible improvers.
- Believe Jack
- Classify
- Loved Out
