Best effort last term when second in a 1½m handicap on the July Course, and p on the July Course off this mark. Possibly unsuited by soft ground on final outing, and has sound claims assuming ground doesn't deteriorate.
Had a great 2019 campaign winning four times and rising 20lb in the process. Needed the run when down the field here on his return, and should do better, but is high in the weights now.
Better effort in C&D handicaps this month when third of 5 to Fantastic Blue last time. That signalled a possible return to form, but he's not been the most reliable in recent times.
Promise in three runs last term, and strong in the market when third of 12 to Glan Y Gors on handicap debut at Pontefract on her return. Still unexposed, and a leading player with that run behind her.
Wins in her turn, but finished lame on her final start last year, and she was beaten a long way after a break here 12 days ago. Best watched with a hood now tried.
Patchy form last season before a stint over hurdles, but he shaped better after a break when third of 10 to Dubious Affair at Yarmouth early this month. Needs to show he can build on that now.

Forecasts
Fox Vardy (6/5), Shauyra (9/4), Natty Night (4/1), Gas Monkey (7/1), Stamford Raffles (8/1), Heart Of Soul (10/1), Thaqaffa (14/1), The Jean Genie (20/1)
FOX VARDY was a late withdrawal here earlier in the month, but he could be a bit better than this grade, and can prove the point by defying top weight. Biggest danger on paper is the unexposed Shauyra, who has the benefit of a recent third at Pontefract to her name. Natty Night had the run of things when winning at Lingfield, but would be dangerous if again allowed to cut out his own fractions.
