Useful handicapper these days despite getting being a veteran in Flat terms, won a couple of 5f handicaps at the start of 2019. Below-par last three starts of last year. 0-8 off breaks of 150 plus days away from the track, others therefore preferred.
Slipped just below his last winning mark having won twice off marks in the mid 80's last year over 5f/6f the second of those wins coming at Epsom in August. More than capable at this level, never involved on reappearance over 6f at Newmarket.
Not won since early 2018, with John Gosden at the time over 7f (turf/AW) eventually migrating to current yard, had a winless 2019 (placed on three starts). Inexperienced in terms of trying 5f (likely to struggle for pace), needs to find some form.
Struggled to find the winning habit after recording a hat-trick in early 2018 over 5f on AW/turf for Kevin Ryan. Rather up-and-down profile since joining this yard, ran one of his lesser races last time at Newmarket despite being on a workable mark.
Found his form towards the end of last year when encountering testing conditions over 5f at Nottingham (enjoys that course) winning twice. Below-par when attempting a hat-trick, quick return/rise in grade finding him out, could need this outing.
One of the busier sorts in this field in 2020 justifying support when scoring over 5.1f at Wolverhampton in January. Not in the same form afterwards, better than finishing position on return, will appreciate this 5f, stable are rather quiet though.
Opened his account for this yard on his debut for them (had left Mick Channon) over 5.1f at Wolverhampton taking advantage of a reduced mark. Rather underwhelming since, looked rusty on his return at Kempton (5f, slow), more needed to get involved.
Course winner in September (6f, good/firm) finally putting it all together for this yard. Shaped encouragingly on return at Newmarket (6f, good/firm), went with zest, better than finishing position, one to be interested despite the drop to 5f.
One of two that the stable run having taken back-to-back 5f handicaps last year at Pontefract and Ayr, didn't really come close to winning subsequently. Went with purpose on return at Hamilton earlier in week, can flatter to deceive, has his quirks.

Rather like the first division of this sprint there is plenty of interest here with another competitive heat in the offing. Savalas from the Robert Cowell yard who do so well with their sprinters is lurking on a decent mark but he does find it hard to get the job done and another place may ensue. Harome ought to do better with a recent race under his belt to take the fizz out of him as he can race rather freely which tends to spoil his chance. Canford Bay is very at home over 5f and having run well over 6f last time he’s worthy of a second look (he was far better than his finishing position last time) but it’s SALUTI who gets the vote after shaping with great promise at Newmarket last time.
