Made the frame at sizeable odds (40-1) on her AW debut at Newcastle (6f) in November; easily the best of four runs. Last of four at Ayr (6f, good to firm; 28-1) on Monday and improvement required for h'cap debut with quick turnaround.
0-11; placed a couple of times in 5f handicaps at Musselburgh and Catterick last season after joining this yard (better on quick ground); back from winter layoff and won't want to see any rain. Market useful.
Narrow winner of Chepstow h'cap (5f, good to firm; 5-2f) in September; lone success in 11 starts. 66-1 on debut for new trainer latest at Chelmsford (7f) and never a threat (ninth); cheekpieces tried now and sharper/suited by drop in distance.
Much-improved when confidently ridden and winning over 6f at Chelmsford eight days ago under this pilot, 6lb penalty to defy back on turf but lightly-raced sort with scope for better and she's entered again later in the week. Strong claims.
Ex-Godolphin inmate almost took advantage of reduced handicap mark at Thirsk (7f, good to soft; 8-1) last week when finishing fast and looking a shade unlucky; unpenalised for that effort and big claims again dropped to 6f.
In rear all three starts last year and simply looked too green and backward to do himself justice; opening mark looks a bit of a guess but he ought to be able to do better, as he's bred to be speedy, and worth a look in the market if nothing else.
12-race maiden was making his first start since wind surgery when finishing 2½L fifth in a 5f AW handicap at Wolverhampton this month. Saddle slipped that day and step back up in distance looks likely to suit.
Kodiac filly, cost 55,000 gns at a foal; well held in both starts so far, latest at Pontefract (6f, good; 12-1) a fortnight ago but makes early switch to handicaps and could do better with trainer/jockey in form.
Yet to offer much in AW handicaps, resulting in mark dropping 16lb; some of his efforts on turf last year were promising though; so not one to discount back in this sphere after a break.
Didn't show a lot in three runs on the AW but was as short as 4-1 in betting for turf/h'cap bow at Thirsk (1m, good to soft) this month after 145-day absence; shaped as though a drop to 6f might suit and interesting to see if money comes again.
Has so far looked moderate, being well held in all three starts last autumn. If he is going to make any appeal it is more likely to be in minor handicaps. Sports first-time blinkers (Engaged 12.45 Beverley Tuesday).
Unplaced in nine starts on turf/AW during 2019; showed only minor improvement when last spotted at Wolverhampton in December (second start after wind op). Needs step forward on return to action.

EYE SMILING took care of a last-time-out winner in fairly ready fashion at Chelmsford eight days ago and a 6lb penalty might not halt David O'Meara's filly if she can translate that much-improved showing to the turf. She just about edges Big City, who looked ready to take advantage of a reduced rating when just missing out at Thirsk on the same day and gets to race from that same perch now. Jorgie was backed on handicap debut and should be suited down in distance, while River of Kings and Rusalka retain potential for better.
