Exposed maiden (10 runs) finished last of 13 over 5f at the Curragh (good to firm) 10 days ago on seasonal return. Cheekpieces tried here but plenty to work on and may want return to further.

Big prices in all seven starts and hasn't show enough to warrant serious interest from betting perspective; off since September and looks exposed.

Raven's Pass filly who cost €25,000 as a yearling; 66-1 chance on debut in March at Naas (6f, soft to heavy) and beaten 15L. Plenty more needed.

€130,000 2yo; dam 1m4f AW winner, half-sister to 1m4f Listed winner My Renee (dam of 1m4f Group 2 winner Banimpire) out of unraced half-sister to Arc winner Carnegie, is granddaughter of Arc winner Detroit. Likely sort on debut.

5/4
50-1 chance over C&D early this month (second start) but outran those odds in finishing ¾L second behind subsequent Listed runner-up You'resobeautiful. Decent form and is shortlisted here with that in mind.

Two good runs so far but has some ground to make up with Illetas on their recent C&D meeting; every chance of more to come and can go well.

Down the field on debut at Naas (6f, soft to heavy) and outclassed at the Curragh (1m2f, good; 250-1) this month. Second runner here for Denis Hogan but plenty more demanded.

200-1 chance in C&D maiden this month won beating only one home in race won by You'resobeautiful. Work to do with a few of these but the filly should offer more before long.

My Lucky Pennyt10
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-2| J: Adrian O'Shea(5)| T: Mrs A M O'Shea| OR:  54
125/1
Yet to get competitive in five starts; latest being in a Group 1 at the Curragh (1m, good to firm; 400-1) this month. Looks fairly limited ability-wise.

Forecasts

Illetas (5/4), I Am Thunder (2/1), Shooting Spirit (10/3), Limit Long (15/2), Stormy Pass (50/1), Sin E Shekells (66/1), Duncannon Power (100/1), My Lucky Penny (125/1), Dandy Pearl (150/1)

Verdict

ILLETAS (second) had 3¾L in hand on Shooting Spirit (fifth) in a strong C&D maiden 13 days ago, with the winner and third going well since in Listed company. The selection was a 50-1 chance that day but there appeared no fluke in him holding sway over Joseph O'Brien's charge in the end. The latter is 4lb better off now but Luke McAteer's mount can confirm those placings under another positive ride. Newcomer I Am Thunder might prove the main threat to their collective aspirations.
  1. Illetas
  2. Shooting Spirit
  3. I Am Thunder
