Seven-race maiden who has so far run well on her second run after being fresh. If she maintains that sort of sequence of form then she should be very competitive from this mark, but more needed for the win. First-time cheekpieces.
Showed minor promise on a couple of occasions last year prior to being gelded. Improved on his only run since then, when 2½L third over C&D (soft) when last seen in September. Needs improvement, but can't rule that out.
Could give her a chance from this mark on several pieces of juvenile form, although she didn't really manage to improve on entering nurseries. Held on her reappearance, after wind surgery, but remains of interest from this mark under a claimer.
Held in all three starts, but there were signs of improvement in the most recent of those at Newcastle in December (6f, AW). Initial mark looks stiff enough, but can't rule out the necessary improvement.
0-7 so far, but went very close to breaking her duck on her recent return from a break at Windsor (6f, good). Consistency has thus far deserted her, which is a concern, but if in the same form she is a big player over this stiff 5f from a good draw.
Shaped with promise in her first two juvenile starts (on a sound surface), but has yet to kick on from there in handicaps. Is now slipping to a more competitive mark, but still has to prove he can make use of it.
Has been more out than in so far, occasionally flattering to deceive. Was never involved after getting the worst of it at the start on his recent reappearance at Wolverhampton, so arrives with a bit to prove. First-time cheekpieces.
Shaped as if going the right way on her second juvenile start at Thirsk (5f, good) last season, but couldn't get involved on her latest appearance at Catterick 11-months ago. Initial mark leaves her needing significant improvement.
Showed little in his juvenile season, but has done better in handicap company on his last three starts, winning over this trip at Wolverhampton (5f, AW) on the second of those, in February. On a competitive mark, so can't rule him out.
Failed to sparkle in novice events, but began to show a little more on entering nurseries at Newcastle (5f) when last seen in December. Drops 1lb for this return to action, after being gelded, but not obviously well treated.
0-10 so far. Ran well over C&D (good to firm) last July, but has had plenty of chances in handicaps, and others make more appeal.
Went close in a Catterick seller on what turned out to be her final start for Tom Dascombe last July, but hasn't really threatened in six runs for this trainer. Cheekpieces exchanged for a visor here, but more needed from 1lb 'wrong'.

Forecasts
Bal Mal (5/2), Harbour Point (3/1), Superiority (13/2), The Grey Bay (7/1), Dancinginthesand (15/2), Alioski (12/1), Youneverletmedown (12/1), Mecca's Hot Steps (14/1), Not On Your Nellie (16/1), It's Not My Fault (16/1), Lady Nectar (22/1), Wade's Magic (25/1), Chocoholic (50/1), Stone Princess (50/1)
A low draw is so often the key here, and that is factored into the selection HARBOUR POINT, who went very close last time and should be suited by this stiff 5f. Wade's Magic would have a squeak if on a 'going' day, though Bal Mal is proving more consistent and looks a danger, Mecca's Hot Steps looks capable of involvement, while Superiority, Dancinginthesand and Not On Your Nellie are all of interest.
- Harbour Point
- Bal Mal
- Mecca's Hot Steps
