Showed some promise in maidens but has disappointed since switching to handicap company well beaten in a couple of starts including at Leopardstown over 7f recently. Tough ask from top-weight.

Solid and consistent on the AW at Wolverhampton and Dundalk since the turn of the year, landing a hat-trick of wins over 6f/7f. Yet to hit the frame in four starts on turf but shouldn't be written off too easily.

Off the mark for connections at the sixth time of asking on the AW at Dundalk in February over 7f. Well beaten 4/1f favourite on return to action at Leopardstown last Tuesday. More needed.

Colt by War Front out of a Galileo mare. Yet to hit the frame in four below-par career starts so far including a dismal effort on return to the track in a Leopardstown 7f handicap recently. Can improve in this company.

Failed to make the grade in four starts for trainer Dermot Weld before a disappointing stable debut in a Leopardstown 7f handicap last week finishing a well beaten 17L. Tough ask.

Six-race maiden, sending mixed messages in a number of starts for trainer Richard Fahey between May and September last term. Overall record casts doubt on her ability to get competitive on stable debut.

Nine-race maiden. Early season promise last term appeared to dissipate towards the end of the season. Well beaten on return to action in a Naas 6f handicap last week and below-par form expected to continue here.

Off the mark for connections at the seventh time of asking when landing a Navan sprint on yielding to soft ground last October off an 8lb lower mark. Well thought of at home and can give a good account once again.

No Nay Never filly. Has disappointed connections in three dismal career starts so far, including when last seen on the AW at Dundalk in March. First time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.

Running well with plenty of credit in a number of starts in December/January on the AW at Dundalk over 7f/1m. No surprise to witness another decent effort on return to action.

Not disgraced in three starts on the AW at Dundalk between November and March. Still to hit the frame in any of her 10 starts including seven efforts on turf. Plenty to prove at present.

Verdict

The Joseph O'Brien yard may be suffering a little since the resumption of racing but their filly, FUNNY LITTLE WAYS can help change the luck of the yard. The daughter of Gutaifan had excuses for her disappointing finishing position on return to action in a Leopardstown 7f handicap last week and can put the record straght in this contest holding off the attentions of the solid and consistent Dundalk pair, J M Barrie and Eglish. The Ado McGuinness-trained, Slade Runner is better than his last effort suggests while Agent Zero could go well at a price.
