Won a French claimer (1m, good) on final run for Joe Tuite, two runs in France after being claimed out of that race (decent fourth on first of them). Returns to GB to debut for this yard (do well with new recruits), worth a check in the market.

Took a few starts to come to himself last year; needed the run on his first start for ten-months at Newcastle (1m, slow) recently. Didn't win until his fifth outing last year and with that in mind and the stable quiet overall others make more appeal.

Dual course winner (7.4f); back on his last winning mark after finishing well held on his 2020 return to action. Not seen to best effect there (got no cover out wide), may well have needed the run, better expected, may find this trip stretching him.

Won first time out in 2019 but looked to need his reappearance this time around having had a wind op. Finished in front of Amadeus Grey in fifth, 2lb below last winning mark so not badly treated but does have a rather sporadic profile overall.

Started 2019 in good fashion winning back-to-back course handicaps over 7.4f; just 1lb higher here than he was for the second success. Goes well here and very good record fresh (twice won off similar breaks); stays this trip, travels strongly.

Confirmed the promise of his previous start when winning in a lower grade at Kempton (1m, slow) in March. Still in good heart on reappearance at Lingfield (1m) taking second to one who has won again since (got poor/wide run); well drawn here.

Lightly-raced sort (still a maiden) who offered little on his sole outing for this yard last year (not seen since). Always behind over 7f at Thirsk on that occasion he's well berthed here off a 5lb lower mark, hard to see him making an impression.

Dual course winner last year (one win over this trip), generally good record here (2031331). Ran consistently well last year although this is undoubtedly her favourite track, may need this run (drawn wide), needs one or two to falter to be involved.

Ended a long losing run earlier in the year (yard thriving at the time) over 8.7f at Wolverhampton following up there over slightly further (9.5f) soon after. Below form when last seen after three months off, wide draw a negative, others appeal more.

C&D winner who likes to front-run (difficult task to do that from out wide); both starts since the resumption of racing have been average. Not disgraced over 7.4f here last time (probably raced too close to an overly strong pace); best watched.

Won three times at Hamilton last year at up to 9.2f with the last win coming from out of the blue when suddenly returning to form. Form gradually tailed away again in three subsequent starts; has something to prove in this grade.

Verdict

An interesting handicap with several possibilities but the eye is drawn to the course record of KEEPUP KEVIN who has a good record around here and also when fresh. A strong traveller he should get a decent pace to run at and is well berthed in stall 4. Mythical Madness (non-runner at Windsor last night) has been kept busy of late winning on his stable debut off an attractive mark before looking rather unlucky at Pontefract on Monday when coming from off the pace from a poor draw (he’s not that well berthed here). Silver Dust is another who didn’t get the run of the race last time but the Fahey yard is rather quiet. Twin Appeal and Northern Lyte both go well here and are respected.
