Took advantage of a drop below his last winning mark to score at Yarmouth (6f, good/firm) off a break (blinkers back on). Just failed to follow-up on AW on quick return (blinkers off), back again quickly in an easier grade (blinkers on), penalised.
Failed to click for Chris Gordon having run well off a much higher mark for Stuart Williams on final start over 5f at Yarmouth. Fair performer at best, hopes pinned on this new yard rejuvenating him, headgear worn last twice removed, 0-8 at 6f.
Record on the AW reads well for one at this level (8-44); has operated at a higher level in the past. Dual C&D winner earlier in the year (capping a good early start for yard); campaign has taken a turn for the worse since then; suspect attitude.
Twice a winner on turf last year over 6f; he's 1-22 on AW (win came on Tapeta). Likely to have needed the run on only 2020 start (6f, Fibresand), no great record fresh so makes fairly limited appeal returning from another absence.
Winner at Redcar (6f, good/firm) in an amateur riders event (early-2019) it's been a barren period since then (looks hard to win with). Failed to make any impression in three AW outings this year, 6lb below last winning mark, hard to fully commit to.
Dual C&D winner (all three wins have come on AW); not won since taking a minor event here (March 2019). Mixed bag of efforts this year (not an easy sort to predict), did run with credit when last seen (6f, Fibresand), no banker to repeat that outing.
Poor maiden handicapper who stays 6f; only managed one placed effort in an 11-race career. Latest effort over C&D failed to inspire (held up, made little impression), usually held up, a run style not suited by the nuances of this track.
Only modest at best these days, below form last three starts after showing some mild promise on her first 2020 start. Went with little fluency last time over C&D, getting on for two years since her last win, 1lb out of the weights.
Yet to even hit the frame in 15 runs it may take more than his usual hood returning to revive his fortunes. Best effort came at 7f, last four starts have been over longer trips; hard to say this move back to 6f is a positive, 1lb out of the weights.

A weak event but with the Joe Tuite yard having been in good form since racing resumed recording four winners from 14 runners this looks a good opportunity for WHO TOLD JO JO to add to that tally having already contributed a win. Penalised for his Yarmouth win he’s run with credit since and if another quick outing doesn’t take its toll he could pop up again. Tawaafoq and Deeds Not Words are dangerously well handicapped although both are drawn wide and the latter has looked a rather recalcitrant individual of late. Poppy May and Mansfield are both hard to difficult individuals to second guess but deserve place consideration.
