Cost £29,000 as a yearling. By Dandy Man out of maiden middle-distance dam. Already gelded and is visored on debut so doesn't make the greatest appeal.
£28,000 The Last Lion colt whose maiden dam is half-sister to high-class sprinter/stallion Kyllachy. Half-brother has won over 6f in Greece. Interesting pedigree and worth a market check on debut.
Lethal Force colt whose dam won over 7t-1m. £15,000 purchase as a yearling and made fair start when under five lengths fifth of 10 in Necwastle 6f novice auction stakes earlier this month. Chance granted normal improvement.
Showed plenty of dash on debut at Lingfield over 6f earlier this month and only faded close home finishing third. Dam was Listed winner at 2 and this 14,000 euros Lawman colt should pay his way this term.
Sales price dropped from 50,000 euros as a foal to £20,000 as a yearling but this Twilight Son colt makes some appeal on paper being half-brother to two winners at between 6-7.5f. Yard fairly quiet but had a juvenile run creditably last week.
20,000gns Adaay yearling out of maiden dam who raced at 6-7f. Yard has just 6% success here with juveniles so this gelding may well improve for this first experience.
£20,000 Outstrip filly out of winning miler. 150/1 and looked backwards when last of 8 at Newcastle and on that evidence will need more time before showing what she is capable of.
Yard not known for 2yo winners and quite likely this £8,000 daughter of Power will improve with time. Her dam won races at between 7f-1m2f so may well need further than this before too long.
11,000 euros daughter of Kodi Bear out of 5f winner. Half-sister to four winners and makes some appeal on pedigree. Was green on debut at Newcastle recently but not disgraced and some improvement anticipated with that experience to call on.
Forecasts
Airflow (7/4), Bowman (9/4), Kraken Power (13/2), Voodoo Whodoo (9/1), Highland Dandy (11/1), Maximum Risk (22/1), Candescence (25/1), Time For A Good Un (25/1), Mont Blanc (33/1)
AIRFLOW showed enough first time out at Newcastle and a race such as this looks within his range. This son of Lethal Force is taken to get off the mark at just the second time of asking. Bowman could be a big danger having shown ability when third at Lingfield. He too will know a lot more and hails from a powerful stable. Kraken Power is one of the more interesting newcomers and is bred to win a race or two, as is Maximum Risk, although his yard hasn't really hit gear so far. Voodoo Whodoo looks best of the rest.
- Airflow
- Bowman
