50,000gns Dandy Man colt out of a Gemran 7-1m winner. Yard been among the winner although operating at lower than usual strike rate. No surprise to see him ready to race on this first outing.
Charming Thought colt out of AW 6f winner. Kept on nicely closing stages when fifth of 8 on debut at Newcastle last week. Stiffer track here may help his cause.
Kodiac colt cost no less than 105,000gns as a yearling and hails from decent family on dam's side. Yard does well with its youngsters but he faded tamely to finish last of 8 on racecourse bow. Needs to take a big step forward.
Sharply bred Charm Spirit colt who cost connections some 45,000gn as a yearling. Dam Listed 6f winner at 2. Has four winning siblings. Better for first outing at Newcastle when slowly away and will know more this time.
Caught the eye on Newcastle debut fnish fast to be third of 12 last week and this 21,000gns son of Bungle Inthejungle looks one for the short list with that experience to call on.
Exceed and Excel filly purchased for 42,000gns. Dam's side suggests she may do better over further in time but top yard always feared and operate at 16% strike rate with their 2yo's at this track.

A chance is taken on newcomer BETTER BY FAR whose stable has been in good form since the restart and who may well appreciate this very stiff 5f more than most. Lost My Sock probably did best of those with previous experience when a good third on debut recently at Newcastle so if building on that is a big danger. Southern raider Lockdown is another expected to improve. Of the other newcomers, Escape Route, a son of DandyMan, and Zaman Jameel, a Shamardal colt, may also be on the premises.
