Made an immediate impression on his Brititsh debut, well backed to score at Haydock (1m) and he won as he liked by 5l; only has the 5lb penalty to carry for that and will be hard to beat if in the same frame of mind today.
Didn't have to improve to score in a Kempton maiden last September and possibly a little unlucky when trying to follow up at Wolverhampton, not getting the best of runs; probably capable of better and this trip suits.
Looking very well handicapped these days but you've got to go back to 2017 to find the last time he got his head in front; concern is that he's just forgotten how to win but trip/likely ground fine, and simply too well handicapped to ignore.
Long time since he rattled off a hat-trick of handicap wins in 2018, and he's not won another since; looked on the downgrade last year and hopes rather pinned on his new yard being able to find his old form; well handcapped if they can.
Two wins in 16 starts, both coming in France, and has found life harder on these shores; gone close last two starts but this mile may be a bare minimum for her these days, and on that, others make a bit more appeal.
One win in 10 starts, but was placed at Epsom last September, and this track might suit him; second start for this yard and he ran as well as he has done when a close sixth at Lingfield last week; fitness assured and could take a hand.

Variyann (4/5), Jack D'Or (4/1), Dourado (5/1), Balgees Time (8/1), Dawry (12/1), Thorn (20/1), Jackpot Royale (66/1)
It's possible a return to a venue he likes might rekindle Dourado's interest, but it's been a long time since his last drink at the bar, and ready preference is for VARIYANN, well backed to score at Haydock on his debut for Archie Watson and he duly obliged with a ton in hand. He'll be hard to beat under a penalty. Thorn comes here fit and has place chances, as do Jack D'Or and Dawry.
