Eight-race maiden who showed glimpses of ability but not much consistency as a juvenile; last seen trailing in eighth of eight at Listowel; other preferred.

Unraced as a juvenile: showed a fair amount of promise on belated debut at Naas in March, doing his best work in the closing stages; interesting contender.

Showed precious little in two starts at Windsor for previous connections; showed his recent well being with decent reappearance run at Naas in March; one of the more likely candidates.
Well down the field on both starts to date including disappointing effort last week at Naas; open to improvement but maybe best watched for now.

Maiden but not disgraced in three starts at Cork, Naas and latest at the Curragh; sort to do better in handicaps but not totally ruled out.

Showed plenty of promise on his second run last season when finishing runner-up at the Curragh in June; slightly below that when last seen at Naas in July; should run well.

Not particularly well-bred and not hard to pass over here based on his performance at Naas in March where he only beat one rival home.

Lost all chance at the start on his belated racecourse debut at Naas recently; encouraging he is turned out again so quick and should beat home more than one rival this time.

Forecasts

Koolasice (13/8), Papa Bear (15/8), Mudawy (4/1), Ecclesiastical (11/2), Blue Raven (8/1), Elzaamone (10/1), Ampeson (14/1), Kells (14/1), Deadwood (16/1), Sansevero Chapel (20/1), Wonder Fullbright (80/1), Requinto Decks (100/1)

Verdict

Not the most competitive or compelling contest and very few with clear cut chances based on form. A slight preference goes to BLUE RAVEN who was doing his best work in the closing stages of his debut run at Naas in March and will have learned from that experience. Wonder Fullbright will need to improve on his debut run, also at Naas, where he missed the break: He is bred to be a speedy sort and could go well with a better start in a first-time visor. Kells has not shown much on the racecourse to date but is nicely bred and should be winning races like this sooner rather than later.
  1. Blue Raven
  2. Wonder Fullbright
  3. Kells
