Anjella
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: M Dwyer| T: W R Muir
14/1
Second foal from an unraced dam (half-sister to the useful 7f-1m winner Brownsea Brink); trainer wouldn't necessarily be known to be a regular supplier of juvenile winners.

€9,000 foal; £42,000 yearling; first foal from a moderate dam (was a half-sister to seven winners); her Lambourn based trainer saddled a winner at Kempton on Wednesday (via the 5yo Tintoretto).

Horse silk
9/1
Half-sister to three winners, including the 7f-1m scorer Jacob Black; too green to do herself justice on debut at Lingfield (5f) last Sunday, but her doubly-represented trainer did saddle a juvenile winner (Follow Suit) at Wolverhampton this week.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: H Crouch| T: C G Cox
13/8
£100,000 yearling; fourth foal from the 5f juvenile winner Satsuma; winning siblings include Good Vibes and Orange Blossom (both 5f); her doubly-represented trainer saddled a juvenile winner (Follow Suit) at Wolverhampton earlier this week.

16,000gns yearling; sixth foal from the 5f juvenile winner Bold Bidder; winning siblings include Celebration (5f-7f) and Gaval (6f-7½f, Italy); a first 2yo runner in 2020 for Joseph Tuite.
€5,000 yearling; tenth foal from a Group-placed 5f-7f winner (Gloved Hand); winning siblings include Emilio Largo (7f-1m) and Canberra Cliffs (1m2f-1m4f); probably one for further down the line; safer to look elsewhere for the solution.
11,000gns yearling; fourth foal from a sister to the 6f juvenile scorer Emperor's Hope; sister to the Italian 5f-7½f winner Rumba Star; others make more appeal.

6/4
Frankel filly (£65,000 yearling); first foal from the Group 3 scorer Ainippe (5f-7f); her trainer continues to fire in impressive juvenile winners left, right and centre (Jojo Rabbit one of the more recent); a major player.

Forecasts

Stream (6/4), Kohinoor (13/8), Isabella Swan (9/1), Sayifyouwill (14/1), Anjella (14/1), Fille d'Or (14/1), Lullaby Moon (20/1), Relative Choice (50/1)

Verdict

Clive Cox knows exactly what it takes to saddle juvenile winners at Goodwood, so the speedily-bred £100,000 yearling Kohinoor rates as a most interesting contender (her stablemate Isabella Swan must show marked improvement from her recent Lingfield debut). However, with Archie Watson's two-year-old's in such flying form (Mighty Gurkha, Igotatext and Jojo Rabbit all impressive winners) it'll take a brave (or foolish) pundit to oppose the unraced Frankel filly STREAM. From the family line of Captain Rio, and a daughter of the Group 3 scorer Ainippe (Fairyhouse), this Qatar Racing-owned filly wouldn't be at all inconvenienced should further rain arrive prior to racing.
  1. Stream
  2. Kohinoor
  3. Lullaby Moon
