Has so far been reasonably consistent, showing some improvement on his most recent start when a close up third at Lingfield (7f, AW) in March. Same mark here, handles soft, and entitled to enter calculations upped to a trip that should suit.
Improved to win a fillies' novice event at Kempton (1m, AW) on her third start last September. Held under a penalty on only subsequent run. Drops 2lb for reappearance and this looks a fair mark for a filly from a stable going well.
Stepped up on her debut when 2L second in a Chelmsford fillies' novice event (7f, AW) last December. Short of that level when dropped to 6f next time. Initial mark on the stiff side, but dam a winner at around this trip and improvement anticipated.
Went close when 33-1 on debut at Kempton (7f, AW) last August and reasonably consistent in two further outings. Step up in trip could elicit some improvement and his initial mark looks reasonably fair. Not ruled out.
Best effort to date came on her fourth start, when winning a 0-70 handicap at Yarmouth (7f, heavy) last October. Well beaten from today's mark on only subsequent run, when upped to 1m½f at Nottingham. Top pilot booked, so check the market.
Placed in two of his five starts, the more recent being at Kempton (1m, AW) last time out in February. On same mark for this return to turf, where he handles good to soft ground and can't be ruled out.
Has shown some ability in three of her four starts, including a promising return to action at Newcastle (1m, AW) recently. 1lb drop won't harm and she capable of going very close if reproducing or improving on her AW form on her turf debut.
Not devoid of promise in two starts, the second being a marginal improvement on the first. Both of those were over 1m2f on AW surfaces and he makes his turf/handicap debut dropping back to 1m and in headgear but from a stiff mark.
Showed promise in novice events as a juvenile, but was unable to kick on in two nurseries later in the campaign. Since gelded and resumes with a handy 3lb drop. Well treated if he can return to that earlier form. Interesting.
Was 5L second in a small field York novice event (6f, soft) last July, but held on both subsequent starts. Not badly treated for this handicap debut, and stable produced big-priced winner a few days ago. Not written off.

Forecasts
Dark Kris (4/1), Noble Dawn (5/1), Time Voyage (6/1), Night Bear (8/1), Rosardo Senorita (8/1), Can't Stop Now (8/1), Parikarma (9/1), Viceregent (9/1), Speed Merchant (14/1), Jalwan (16/1), True Believer (18/1), Abbey Wharf (66/1)
Viceregent may be able to kick on again now gelded and from a handy mark he could emerge as a big player here. Time Voyage is another for the short-list, while Parikama merits a market check and Can't Stop Now is another possible. Rosardo Senorita and True Believer are others for whom cases can be made, but the suggestion is DARK KRIS, who gets a handy 3lb claimed off his back and both conditions and trip ought to suit.
- Dark Kris
- Viceregent
- Time Voyage
