Forecasts

Merchants Quay (11/10), Cooper's Hawk (3/1), Admiral Nelson (5/1), Irish Chief (12/1), Zoffany's Delight (18/1), Lunar Space (20/1), Puerto De Vega (22/1), Cursory Exam (25/1), Tammany Hall (50/1), Mateo Cruz (80/1), Brokers Tip (80/1), I've Got Wings (250/1)

Verdict

Some two-year-olds that did plenty damage to the cheque books of their illustrious owners here and it's safe to suggest Aidan O'Brien holds the key with Admiral Nelson and MERCHANTS QUAY part of a three-strong assault. The former cost £440,000 at the sales last summer and is full of potential, despite the notion 5f might be sharp enough. Seamie Heffernan's mount by contrast cost a mere €300,000 and, by No Nay Never, is bred for speed. The betting will likely be a key guide. Cooper's Hawk represents another trainer going great guns, while Lunar Space and Zoffany's Delight are attractively bred.
  1. Merchants Quay
  2. Admiral Nelson
  3. Cooper's Hawk
