Unraced Gleneagles colt bought for 15,000 gns at the sales last November. Half-brother to winner Msayyan and he is interesting with the stables first juvenile runner of the year victorious at Newmarket last week.

Unraced son of Fountain Of Youth sold for £1,000 at the sales in September last year. Half-brother to a number of winners and he is worth a check in the market on racecourse debut.

Slowly away and never involved when finishing 23L last of ten on debut at Yarmouth (5f, good-to-firm) last week. Likely to have improved for the experience but more needed if he's to take this event.

Showed promise when finishing 7½L eighth in a 5f maiden at Newmarket (good-to-firm) on debut last week. Represents a top yard and is one to note with a good draw on this occasion.

Unraced daughter of Dragon Pulse out of a mare who won four times over sprint distances on the AW. Interesting to see how she performs on her first racecourse appearance.

Forecasts

Gordonstoun (11/8), Tenth Century (2/1), Risque (7/2), Paco Loco (12/1), Tempah (12/1), The Good Ting (16/1), Social Rebel (16/1)

Verdict

The benefit of experience can see RISQUE put a slightly disappointing debut behind her to take the opening two-year-old novice event for Richard Hannon. The selection looks capable of getting the better of Gordonstoun who hails from a yard who won with their first juvenile runner of the season recently while third place can go Tenth Century who is related to a number of winners.

  2. Gordonstoun
  3. Tenth Century
