Off the mark for connections at the seventh attempt when landing a 14-runner handicap over a similar trip on the AW at Dundalk in November off an 8lb lower mark. Beaten since but leading player.
Successful at the sixth attempt for connections landing a Leopardstown fillies handicap over 7f on soft/heavy ground in October off a 4lb lower mark. Well held since. Trainer has a 29% win and place strike rate with June debutantes since 2016.
Failed to find the form when in the care of trainer David Barron last term in a couple of dismal efforts in January/March. Yard hold a record of 22% win and place strike rate in the last four years with their career and seasonal debutantes in June.
Experienced eight-race maiden who appeared to be progressing well in a number of starts on the AW at Dundalk between October and December last year. Entitled to make the shortlist.
Daughter of Pour Moi out of a Danehill Dancer mare. Needs to improve on three career efforts between July and September last year but worth a check in the market, only handicap debutante in the line-up.
Solid and consistent sort running well in defeat in a number of starts last term before a dismal effort on handicap debut at the Curragh over 6f when last seen in August. Others look open to more improvement.
Seven-race maiden generally well held and never nearer in a number of starts on the AW at Dundalk in handicap company around the turn of the year. Needs to improve dramatically to play a role in this contest.
Failed to hit the frame in seven career starts before finishing third of eight beaten over 5L when last seen in a Naas 7f two-year-old handicap on heavy ground in November last year. Not to be taken lightly from in form yard.

Point Reyes (11/4), Mere Catherine (7/2), Bella Brazil (5/1), Feminista (6/1), Gold Factory (6/1), At War (13/2), Waterville Lady (8/1), Glow Worm (16/1), Cap D'Antibes (22/1)
The Dermot Weld-trained filly, MERE CATHERINE can get off the mark for connections at the fourth time of asking. The daughter of Pour Moi can make the most of her weight advantage from a number of rivals on handicap debut. Feminista for trainer Jim Bolger and the Joseph O'Brien-trained Gold Factory can both improve on their most recent performances to finish in the frame. Top weight Point Reyes and the Jessica Harrington-trained Waterville Lady are worthy of further consideration.
- Mere Catherine
- Feminista
- Gold Factory
