Multiple winner over 1m4f-2m, including at this track. Best on a sound surface but has run well on slower than good. 5lb higher than her last win, so more needed, but can't rule her out.
Former John Gosden-trained maiden after nine starts, the last two over hurdles since joining this trainer. Returns after wind surgery here in first-time tongue-tie. On a competitive mark and with good claimer up. Interesting.
Not devoid of promise in three starts last summer, but well held on handicap debut when last seen at Wolverhampton in September. Drops 4lb for this reappearance and we need to see more before recommending him.
Multiple winner over 1m4f-1m6f, including with cut in the ground. 2lb higher than when scoring at Hamilton last August. Found wanting in higher grade in two more runs, but it had been a busy campaign. Not written off on her return.
1m4f AW winner who is 0-8 on turf. Beaten a long way on her last three AW starts, and returns to turf 13lb lower than her last run on it, which was as recent as August last year. Changed hands for 4,000gns and probably one to watch on stable debut.
Showed glimpses of ability on gradually stepping up to 1m4f last year. Had wind surgery prior to his final run in October. Held that day, and since gelded and changed hands for 8,000gns. One to watch unless market vibes very positive.
Best effort was her second start in a Newmarket maiden (fast ground) last year, when with Tom Dascombe. Some way below that level since, including last three runs since joining this trainer. Not badly treated now though, and not ruled out.
Won a Southwell maiden (1m3f, AW) in 2018, and has continued to show a liking for the Fibresand. Stays 1m6f. Acts on soft ground (went close at Nottingham last October), but probably up against it here.
Hinted that he might win races when runner-up in a Wolverhampton novice event (1m1½f, AW) when last seen 11-months ago. Initial mark no more than fair, but there is scope for improvement now entering handicaps. Interesting.
Triple turf winner at up to 1m1f (stays 1m3f) including on testing ground. Goes into this reappearance on a mark 3lb lower than his most recent success at Carlisle 13-months ago. Handy mark then, but has to improve on his record when fresh (0-7).
Multiple winner at up to 1m2f, including on good to soft. Now 10lb lower than his last win, but you have to go back a couple of years to find that. Handicapper giving him a chance and would be interesting if supported.
Dual winner, including over C&D in a seller last August, on his final start for Mick Appleby. Well held in all starts since joining this trainer and others make more appeal.
Forecasts
Awesomedude (13/8), Flower Power (13/2), Sociologist (7/1), Donnachies Girl (8/1), Quoteline Direct (8/1), Imajorblush (16/1), Vampish (20/1), Artistic Streak (20/1), Majeste (20/1), Fanfaronade (20/1), Ezanak (25/1), Red Derek (50/1)
A race to treat with an element of caution and the suggestion is FANFARONADE, who reappears after wind surgery on a competitive mark and this could be the time to catch her. Flower Power and Imajorblush could both get involved, while Artistic Streak and Donnachies Girl are not written off.
- Fanfaronade
- Imajorblush
- Flower Power
