Multiple C&D winner on good to firm/good to soft, whose most recent success came at Thirsk last August. 4lb higher than that today, won here when fresh last year and should be a big player again.
Multiple winner over 7f-1m (inc. on good to soft), the latest when 4lb higher at Thirsk 13-months ago. Form tailed off towards the end of the season, but record when fresh is 1-1-1-3, so is very much a contender on that evidence alone.
Won a claimer here over 7½f last summer, acts on good to soft and this trip is no problem. Has had wind surgery since last seen going close at Southwell in December. Has won when fresh and can't rule him out.
Fast ground turf winner at Haydock (7f) last July, and has since proved himself over 1m1½f with a Wolverhampton win in February. Has won when fresh, and is competitively handicapped here, so could have a say.
Dual 7f winner in 2018 (on good/good to firm), but has only managed to get to the racecourse twice since then. Showed he retains some ability at Newcastle in December. Gelded since last seen in January, but still a bit to prove.
Has run well here before and gets up to 1m1½f. Latest win came on AW at Kempton in January, when 6lb lower and went close from today's mark when last seen at Wolverhampton in March. Has won when fresh. Interesting.
Has earned both his wins on his first start of each season, which looks very positive. Proved he acts on good to soft when a close second at Haydock this time last year, from 1lb higher. Could be the day to catch him. Short-listed.
Dual winner here, one of them over this trip on good to soft ground. 3lb higher today than when scoring at York (1m1f, good to soft) this time last year, and while not written off, there are reasons to take him on on this reappearance.
Sole success came over 1m at Haydock in 2018, for Charlie Appleby. Couldn't add to that in nine starts for Stuart Williams last year (close over 6f/7f). Changed hands for 15,000gns since and had wind surgery. Perhaps best watched on stable debut.
Didn't race as a juvenile, but improved with each start at three and broke her duck at Carlisle (1m1f, soft) when last seen in May 2019. Looks very interesting from this initial handicap mark, and no surprise to see her go close.

Forecasts
Candelisa (5/1), Secretarial (5/1), Hesslewood (11/2), Hayadh (7/1), Dawaaleeb (7/1), Tukhoom (15/2), Mickey (15/2), Poet's Dawn (8/1), Caballero (9/1), Kylie Rules (10/1), Hajjam (16/1), Swiss Knight (25/1)
A competitive event where Kylie Rules has claims, the unexposed Secreterial could emerge as a big contender, while Candelisa, Hesslewood, Tukhoum and Dawaaleeb are others for whom cases can be made. However, HAYADH is back on a handy mark, has a 3lb claimer to lighten the load and goes very well when fresh, so he gets the vote.
- Hayadh
- Secretarial
- Hesslewood
