Showed some promise in maidens but has disappointed since switching to handicap company. Too keen at Galway last time out when eighth of nine and probably up against it here from 4lb lower,; wears first-time tongue-tie.
Well beaten on first two starts, despite going off a short priced favourite on debut. Better effort last time in first-time headgear (tongue-tie retained, blinkers left off) and every chance he could be better than this mark on handicap debut.
Beaten out of sight on debut but produced a better effort in a 6f Dundalk maiden next time out. Two subsequent efforts suggest he might struggle from this sort of mark on handicap debut though.
Improved from her maiden form in a couple of handicaps prior to getting her head in front at Dundalk (7f) last time when winning by 3½L. Up 10lb but had plenty left and pedigree suggests she ought to be at least as effective on turf.
Produced a promising run in a maiden at Down Royal when stepped up in trip to 7f and probably found the test too sharp (5f) at Sligo on handicap debut. Dropped 3lb and he's interesting back up in trip here.
Showed promise in maidens including in a C&D effort when beaten just 4¼L on third start. Failed to progress on handicap debut when seventh of 12 but still early days.
Promising debut at Dundalk and ran to a similar level back at that venue last time when dropped to 6f. That wasn't a strong race and doesn't look particularly well-treated for handicap debut but step back up in trip should suit at least.
Well backed when third on handicap debut at Dundalk (5f). Just about a career best when runner-up back at that venue last time (6f) and shapes like this step up in trip will suit; up 1lb in the handicap but wide draw not ideal.
Well beaten in a trio of maidens and didn't show any improvement on handicap debut at Dundalk in December when last of nine. Needs to have improved markedly in the interim to have a say here.
Showed a lot of promise in a couple of maidens at Naas at the start of last season. However, has failed to progress in two starts for this yard at Dundalk; drawn wide and others appeal more.
Promising efforts in a couple of maidens prior to his third start when finishing tailed off. Better judged on his previous form though when looking like he would improve for this longer trip. Interesting on handicap debut here.
Well bred filly but didn't show much in three starts for Roger Varian. Bought for 8,500 gns subsequently and hasn't shown enough to be of interest here. Up in trip and wears first-time blinkers.
12-race maiden whose best form has come on soft ground; easy enough to oppose here in such a competitive event.
Off the mark at the eighth attempt when winning a Dundalk handicap (1m). Still 3lb above that winning mark despite two disappointing runs since and drop back in trip not certain to have a positive effect. Best form on AW; first-time visor.
Well beaten in a trio of maidens but has shown improved form for a switch to handicaps. Should remain competitive from this mark but a wide draw makes life difficult.
A maiden after three starts, only managing to make the frame in claiming company. Turf debut here back up in trip but hard to imagine she's well-handicapped on what she's shown so far.
Initially improved for the switch to handicaps, though has been a little disappointing in his latest two starts. Beaten 3L on debut for this yard on latest outing at Dundalk (1m) and wide draw won't help his cause here; wears first-time visor.
Ran okay in a pair of Wolverhampton sellers at the end of 2019 bought looks up against it from this sort of mark on return to handicaps and widest draw is off-putting; yard debut.

OHIO STATE has a wide draw to overcome but he's beautifully bred and he could be a class apart from these rivals from a lowly mark of 70. Star Of Cashel is another interesting handicap debutant who should appreciate a step up in trip. Funny Little Ways was impressive at Dundalk when last seen and while she has a hike in the weights to cope with, she looks capable of making her presence felt and completes the shortlist.
