Winner for Edward Kent over this trip at Tramore last August, after which he joined this yard and had three hurdles runs, not disgraced on any of them; has few miles on the clock and improvement not out of the question.
Some early promise last season seemed to evaporate a bit as the year went on, and she was tried over hurdles in the spring as well, all to little avail; young enough to turn things around yet, but the jury's out now.
Only had the four starts, and has been placed twice at Chelmsford (10f) already, not beaten far on latest start and giving the impression this trip will suit; well drawn and a big surprise if we have seen the best of her yet.
Won a moderate race at cramped odds at Newcastle last year, although he made hard work of that, and quickly went sour afterwards; new yard can sweeten them up though, and this mark fair; watch market for a clue.
Not much to cheer about in five starts, and is now already on his third trainer; positives thin on the ground and hopes pinned on a change of scenery and big step up in trip.
Useful hurdler/chaser that's not been seen on the Flat for the best part of two years; tends to want decent ground, so fair chance surface will suit, and trip probably okay; others preferred on balance, though.
Two wins in 16 starts, both of them at this trip and on artifical surfaces; tends to blow a bit hot and cold and this mark might just be a bit on the high side, so best watched today.
Four times a winner but they have all been on turf, and she has yet to so much as hit a place in 12 starts on the all-weather; that stat alone enough to make you look elsewhere.
Just one win in 12 starts but on the plus side, that did come first time up after a 166-day break last year, so can go well fresh; no great record on the surface but seems to act on it, and from a decent draw, isn't totally discounted.
Showed next to nothing first three starts but massive improvement on fourth and final start of last year, runner-up over 2m in a moderate race at Kempton; possible he can build on that, but this trip probably on the short side for him all the same.

Red Secret (7/2), Double Legend (5/1), Tronada (7/1), Hit The Rocks (7/1), Hammy End (10/1), Peace Prevails (10/1), Devizes (10/1), Engrave (16/1), Seeusoon (20/1), Willkommen (20/1), Malangen (25/1), Thermal (40/1)
This looks wide open, and solid form is thin on the ground. Seeusoon has joined a yard that almost invariably improve horses from other's yards, and market support for him could be very significant. Hit The Rocks has winning form and the yard got off the mark at the weekend, so deserves respect, but maybe this is the time to catch HAMMY END, who did win fresh last year and looks on a fair mark to start the season off. He might need a bit of luck late on, but as long as the gaps come, should have his chance. Engrave is another likely outsider but could easily improve now stepping up in trip.
- Hammy End
- Seeusoon
- Hit The Rocks
