Couldn't justify market prominence on second start at Chelmsford (7f, AW; 5-4f) despite seemingly holding every chance. Gelding during seven-month absence and has left Owen Burrows for this yard.
Cost 87,000 gns and is nicely-related; son of Zoffany not beaten far in 7f good-ground Epson novice in second and final turf start last summer. Should be more to come if handling AW.

Exceed And Excel colt cost £105,000 as a yearling; not without promise in pair of minor contest on turf at Windsor and Doncaster last summer. Up in trip on return/AW bow with improvement to find.
Half-brother to smart winners Desert Diamond (1m¾f-1m2f inc AW/Listed and Jewel House (GB 7f/Qatar 1m2f); dam 1m2f winner, sister to 1m2f-1m4f Gr 2 winner Riposte, closely related dam of Frankel. Positives are plentiful for top connections.
€21,000 foal, 8,000gns yearling; dam modest 7f winner, out of Listed-placed 6f winning half-sister to US 1m stakes winner Solar Bound and to the dam of smart sprinter Strath Burn. Others preferred on paper.
Nicely-related Muhaarar filly, showed some promise in 7f/1m outings at Kempton in the winter though ultimately didn't meet market expectations. Given a break since and not a big surprise to see her shaping with more purpose.

Aswaat is likely going to improve as a three-year-old and showed some promise in two runs last season while the same sentiments are readily attached to both Glorious Zoff and Anjah. The trio don't however set an exacting standard and so it may well be that Sir Michael Stoute has found a nice opening for RANSOM, a Kingman colt with plenty going for him on paper and Ryan Moore on board for this racecourse bow.
