Has achieved little so far in six Point starts and, although blinkers go on for the first time, he faces a tough task switched to regulation fences.
Won first four starts in Points but has only run three times since last win (found lame when fourth on debut under rules). Lost nothing in defeat when chasing home a useful sort in Point last time and likely to go well.
Heavy ground point-to-point winner on penultimate start but limitations firmly exposed in hunter chase back under rules on most recent start. Cheekpieces fitted but needs to raise game if he's to figure.
Only one performance of note when second in soft-ground Point on penultimate start in February. Failed by a long chalk to reproduce that last time and best watched on debut over regulation fences.
Was starting to look exposed but posted an improved effort to win on most recent outing in Points. However he'll have to better that effort if he's to follow up on debut over regulation fences.
Unexposed sort. Took a heavy fall on rules debut last May but has since won a Point and bettered form of that victory in defeat last time. Not without a chance back returned to this discipline.
Fair maiden chaser (best on a sound surface) at up to 3m when trained by Mick Channon but, although he didn't have to run to best to beat sole finisher on Point debut last time, he has claims back under rules.
Ordinary form when beating two finishers in Point last October and ran to similar level last time. Fell on debut over regulation fences in January (beaten at time) and others make more appeal.
Interesting runner given he's 3-3 in point-to-points and best effort when beating a reliable yardstick last time. Looks the type to do well over regulation fences and no surprise to see him give a good account.
Notched second win from 19 starts in Points when reversing previous placings with Like A Demon at Tyrella. Tongue-tie and blinkers now fitted but he'll do well to beat one or two of these on debut under rules.
Long-standing maiden in bumpers and over hurdles and didn't show anywhere near enough on sole completed start in Point to suggest she's of much interest on debut over regulation fences.
Fine strike-rate in points-to-points (5-7) but failed to translate that form to regulation fences when pulling up at Clonmel in January. Absent since and she'll have to fare a good deal better this time.
0-8 over regulation fences and not seen in this sphere for nearly two years but she has since been a prolific winner in point-to-points. However she'll have to better all that form if she's to win on these terms.
Forecasts
On The Sod (7/4), Complete Sizing (9/4), Heydour (11/2), Holycross Lito (9/1), Handy Headon (12/1), Longhouse Music (16/1), Well Bill (20/1), Danjaman (33/1), Getzie (40/1), Kilgorey (66/1), Castlebawn (100/1), General Ryan (100/1), Amarillo Rose (150/1)
Complete Sizing is well worth a second look returned to regulation fences in a race of this nature but while he should go very close, the suggestion is ON THE SOD, who has created a good impression to win all his starts in point-to-points and he’s very much of interest on this debut under rules with further improvement on the cards. Heydour may do best of the remainder.
