Useful Flat performer who wasn't disgraced on first two hurdles starts, both over 2m. Failed to show his form last time but looks a major player if back on song.
Has shown clear ability as he finished fourth in two bumper starts and runner-up in two maiden hurdles, latest over 2m2f at Leopardstown behind a Willie Mullins-trained market rival. Strong contender.
Hurdling debutant who needs to improve on what he achieved in two bumpers in the autumn, eighth of 14 at this course on latest occasion.
Triple winner on the Flat in Britain for Alexandra Dunn. Beaten long way in two maiden hurdles for new yard. Best watched.
Flat winner in Britain for Tom Clover. Comfortably held in two maiden hurdles for new stable, 33L seventh at this track on first occasion.
Inconsistent but has place claims on his best efforts, namely when second at Cork last May and third at Limerick in December, both times over 2m.
Just one success from seven attempts in points. Outran his 40-1 odds when fourth over C&D on debut over hurdles but probably needs to improve on that bare form.
Flat winner for Ger Lyons. Has struggled in two maiden hurdles for new yard and was well behind Fakiera both times.
0-3 in point-to-points. Finished third to a subsequent scorer at Clonmel (2m) on second attempt over hurdles and looks open to further progress in this sphere. One to consider.
Bumper debut winner on sole start for Stuart Crawford. Hasn't progressed since and both hurdles runs have resulted in duck eggs.
Has achieved little in three maiden hurdles, as reflected by her unappealing form figures.
Ran respectably in handicap hurdles the last twice, finishing second over 2m at Gowran Park then fourth over 2m4f at Navan. Needs improvement on these terms, however.
Modest maiden on the Flat, unplaced in AW claimer most recently. Also hard to fancy on her two hurdling efforts, the latest 10 months ago.
Flat scorer for Michael O'Callaghan. Weakened into tenth in big field at Naas on debut over hurdles. Saddle slipped last time. Others preferred.
Distant ninth of 12 in Down Royal last June on sole run for Peter Fahey. Market can guide on stable/hurdle debut.
Well-bred mare who has solid and progressive form in bumpers. Finished second in Leopardstown Grade 2 on penultimate start, then went one better at this course later in February (won easily). Respected on hurdling debut.

Above-average mare POLITESSE is taken to continue her progress and follow up last month's course bumper win. Fakiera has the best hurdles form and is feared most, ahead of Arthurian Fame and Ruinous.
