C&D winner ran well in defeat on first start for two years over the combination earlier this month. Yard boast a 50% win and place strike rate with their runners between mid and late March at this venue in the last four years from 10 starters.
Won for the second time in his career when landing a 5K contest over C&D earlier this month, his first victory at this venue in eight starts off a 4lb lower mark. Another bold bid likely.
Always in rear on first start in 114 days at this track over 7f last week finishing 13th of the 14 runners. Not disgraced on sole effort over C&D in November but needs to improve on even her best form in this contest.
Veteran having his 11th start at the track since October. Two from six over C&D with the gelding last winning over the combination in February 2015. Running well in defeat over 7f recently but always liable to find a couple stronger.
Eight-race maiden. Finished 10th of 14 over 7f at this venue earlier in the month, only beaten 2¾L. Worth a check in the market with current leading apprentice in the plate.
Not beaten far in a number of starts in November/December last year over 7f. Generally well held in a couple of C&D starts over 12 months ago. Apprentice rider rode a winner here earlier in the month and worth his claim.
Running with credit in a number of starts at this venue since the turn of the year. Waited with in rear before running on to finish fourth of 13 beaten 3¼L over C&D last month off a 2lb higher mark. Not to be taken lightly.
Mainly races over 7f, the gelding produced his best effort over C&D over three years ago finishing second of the 14 runners beaten 1½L. 10lb below last winning mark but step up in trip not sure to suit.
Eight-race maiden. Well beaten in two starts on an AW surface since December. Nearer last than first when well beaten at this track on penultimate start before a 16L defeat over 1m1½f at Wolverhampton in January. Others more appealing.
Winner of one of his 11 races over C&D with the gelding hitting the frame on a further six occasions. Well held in a couple of starts over the combination since last month but not to be underestimated now 3lb lower than last winning mark.
Running well in defeat in three starts since the turn of the year. No surprise to witness a bold effort with adept apprentice in the saddle and the C&D winner now racing 12lb lower than last winning mark.
Now a 16-race maiden the daughter of Sakhee's Secret continues to struggle in a number of starts over C&D in the last 12 months. Can go well but may find one or two better handicapped sorts in the line up.
Without a win in 14 career starts including 12 defeats at this venue previously. Well beaten on latest start over C&D last month and not in the required form to play a part in the finish.
12-race maiden only ran a couple of times for trainer Marjorie Fife in December. Best effort over C&D came in October finishing second of 14 runners. Market likely to be the best guide on another stable debut.

Reverberation (7/2), Kinch (5/1), Tyrconnell (6/1), Casa Romano (6/1), Tennessee Wildcat (13/2), Sir Danilo (8/1), Never Rains (12/1), Voyageofdiscovery (16/1), Lady Boomerang (16/1), Dance Alone (20/1), Crest Of A Wave (22/1), Distant Mirage (25/1), All The Mollies (25/1), Fascinating Spirit (33/1), Russian Vine (33/1), Aishling's Secret (40/1), The Perch (66/1)
The solid and consistent KINCH can land a third career win in the opener. The four-year-old won at the fourth time of asking over C&D earlier this month off a 4lb lower mark and can get the better of the Sarah Lynam-trained Tyrconnell who finds himself back on his last winning mark in this contest. With a number of runners set to run well over C&D once again, the likes of Reverberation, with adept Gavin Ryan in the saddle, Voyageofdiscovery who ran well in defeat behind Kinch earlier this month and the tough and genuine Tennessee Wildcat should not be underestimated. Sir Danilo, who will lead, and Casa Mento, the mount of leading apprentice Ben Coen could go well at a price.
- Kinch
- Tyrconnell
- Tennessee Wildcat
