Trainer 8-60 with bumper newcomers since 2015; half brother to Flat winner Zaofu (winner at 1m3f, stays 2m). Dam, ran twice over hurdles, closely related to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 3m) Dushybeag; worth a glance in the market.
Half-brother to the yard's Mercian Knight (stable know the family well); looked badly in need of the experience on debut at Chepstow (2m, heavy). Would need to leave that first run well behind to take a hand in this contest.

Runner-up on his third and final start in Irish point-to-points, sold after that run for £28,000. Trainer enjoying a good spell (first Festival winner last week); has a healthy 10-62 record with bumper debutantes since 2015; respected first-time up.

Fifth on both his starts so far (not seen to maximum effect on debut); showed the benefit of his first experience next time out. Ran to a useful level up in grade (listed company) at Newbury keeping on at the finish; claims back in calmer waters.

Yard 0-16 with their bumper runners here since 2015 which hardly inspires confidence. Makes some appeal on pedigree having hinted at ability on debut at Market Rasen not quickening at the death to finish a well-held fifth; needs to step forward.
Went backwards rapidly from his promising first effort at Newbury last time looking as though something was not quite right (warmer race/heavy ground). Given a break since then his yard are firing on all cylinders; 3-7 in bumpers here since 2015.

Yard hardly have a great strike rate (7%, 4-59) since 2015 with bumper newcomers but the dam was a bumper/hurdles winner. Respect due give the owners plethora of decent types, by Presenting so may appreciate better ground than he'll find here.

Glencassley (9/4), Franigane (5/2), No Anxiety (4/1), Party Fuzz (5/1), Ballaquane (12/1), High Moon (22/1), Carole's Templer (50/1)

Verdict

An interesting bumper with the standard set by Glencassley and his fifth in a Listed Newbury bumper last time having also shown promise on his debut, he looks sure to go well but preference is for PARTY FUZZ despite his flop last time. His trainer, Kim Bailey is in good form currently having just had a Festival winner (Imperial Aura) with his good form continuing since and it may be best to forgive his charge a poor run last time at a venue where he is 3-7 since 2015 with his bumper runners. Franigane and Ballaquane are two newcomers from yards who should be respected in this sphere with the former having had experience in Irish point-to-points.
