Sound enough form in bumpers without excelling (two runner-up slots) who showed the benefits of a wind op/short break when scoring on hurdles debut (beat odds-on shot). Will appreciate this step up to 2m4f (ground fine); looks sure to go well again.
Showed inexperience in bumpers; justified support on hurdles debut here (2m, heavy) to win by 6L (form looks weak overall). Failed to impress twice since including when favourite once; has looked lazy on both those starts, possibly needs headgear.
Dismissed a field of less-forward types by 5L in a Carlisle bumper a year ago but hasn't so far fulfilled that promise in two hurdling starts. Upped to this trip and further for both those timber outings he comes here with a bit to prove.
Made the most of a good opportunity to score at odds-on in a Wetherby bumper around a year ago. As yet he's failed match his bumper form over hurdles although his runner-up effort at Market Rasen to a previous winner was encouraging for the future.
Poor form in two bumper starts for Nicky Henderson (started 5-1 both runs) prior to a spell in point-to-points (placed once, failed to complete three times). Returns to race under Rules for a new yard (having a good season); hard to build a case.

Despite the penalty EXELERATOR EXPRESS looks to have found another reasonable opportunity to build on his Doncaster win where he showed a good attitude to beat the well-fancied and already successful Goobinator albeit in receipt of weight. He ought to appreciate this step up to 2m4f and have the edge over his main rival Sheshoon Sonny who has yet to replicate his useful bumper over hurdles. Shantou Vow hasn’t lived up to the form of his 2m course win which looks weak in any case (runners out of that are 0-14) with his attitude looking questionable of late. Rintulla and Glama have more to prove that their rivals.
