Distant seventh here over 2m5½f in December his only completion in four hurdles starts. Two falls and a pulled up thus far so brings a multitude of concerns to the table.
31L fifth of 10 last time out at Uttoxeter his most promising start of four (two bumpers, two hurdles). Still unlikely to feature prominently here and likely one for low-grade handicaps next.
Has a really nice NH pedigree and showed significant promise when beaten 14L into second in a Huntingdon bumper behind what looked a useful prospect. Won't need to improve much for switch to hurdles but likely he will.
Unplaced in four races for Willie Mullins last year (three hurdles and a bumper) but did show some modicum of ability. Hardly in deep water here for UK debut so market may prove a useful guide.
Although he has bumped into a couple of useful novices in his first two hurdle races neither those nor his bumpers have seen enough evidence to have any optimism.
Placed in three of his 12 point-to-points but failed to win one and pulled-up the last twice so best watched on belated Rules debut.
Promise in lone bumper and only beaten 3¾L into third of 10 on hurdles debut at Huntingdon where he lost second on the post. That form solid in itself and with a hood to help his focus he appeals as the most likely winner.
Not shown a huge amount in four bumpers but both pedigree and yard he represents suggest him a staying chaser in time so obstacles may help. Unlikely to make the frame however.
One of three that this top-class yard run and although he was pulled-up on debut at Doncaster that was behind Allart who ran well in the Supreme Novices at Cheltenham. May fare better now although Loughan clearly yard's best hope,
Ran five times for Mags Mullins in Ireland (two bumpers and three hurdles) and although unplaced she did show ability. Wouldn't be a huge shock should she make a place despite 10 months off the track.
Point-to-point winner well-beaten in two hurdle races at Ludlow last month and will need a big step up if she's to make the frame here although lack of strength in depth makes that a possibility.
One of three from his prolific yard but this juvenile hasn't impressed in three starts to date and he will need to improve plenty now. Waiting for a glimmer of light before getting involved.
Third here in December the best of his four bumper efforts. Will need to step up now but this weak race shouldn't make life too difficult.

A race severely lacking in depth looks rather at the mercy of LOUGHAN who is easily the most appealing of the Skelton trio. Trevor Hemmings' five-year-old ran well in his only bumper and better still on hurdles debut at Huntingdon. The only real danger looks to be well-bred Imperial Icon in the Imperial Commander colours with his lone bumper run one of great promise. Skelton's second string Bear Spray may prove best of the rest.
