This race has thrown in some encouraging form lines and it could be the chance for the now-progressive BALLYART to gain a deserved win under rules. His latest staying-on effort at Warwick suggests he is still in form but interestingly hasn't been greatly penalised for that. He looks the one to beat despite his top weight. Two horses recently returned to form in the shape of Granitic and Sandford Castle which puts them right in the mix to progress once, while the exposed Arquebusier has held his mark this season and should be thereabouts if some others falter.
