French hurdles winner on debut before coming to this yard, failed to meet expectations on debut in a Grade 2 here (pulled too hard). Settled better (still keen) when winning at Ludlow last time; wind op since, now runs in first-time hood.
Gradual progress for this yard after being a winner in this sphere in France and confirmed his previous promise when forging away with a Naas juvenile when last seen. Still unexposed he looks a leading player for a trainer/owner who do well in this.
Fair sort on the Flat, he's taken well to hurdles winning his last two in easy fashion both over 2m in testing conditions at Sandown. Now makes his handicap debut with the look of one who has more to offer; trainer won this in 2012.
Lost little in defeat last time (conceded first run) at Ludlow when taking on his elders for the first-time having won his first two starts in juvenile company (one of them a Listed contest). Remains open to improvement back against own age group.
Unbeaten on his GB starts (2-2) not needing to improve last time but still creating a favourable impression when winning at Warwick (2m, soft). Strong travelling, fluent jumping type who will be at home in a big-field handicap such as this.
Fairly useful on the Flat he's taken well to hurdling going one better than his first two starts over timber when taking a Doncaster juvenile last time. Work to do with Blacko on their Taunton run (Night Edition fourth).
Fair Flat maiden who improved on that form over hurdles when with Brendan Duke but has run below the form of his Cork juvenile win in two Graded races since. Now makes his GB/stable debut with a fair bit to prove against some progressive types.
Stable trained the last GB winner of this (2017); useful sort who comes into this off the back of a Grade 2 course win on Trials Day. Suited by a test of stamina, he looks a longer-term prospect than some of these but should go well; handicap debut.
One of five from this yard; got off the mark at the fifth attempt in a Gowran Park juvenile (2m, heavy) when a well-supported favourite. Travelled strongly to win by 24L, will find this a very different test but respected given his connections.
One of two leading candidates for the trainer who has landed this three times. Progressing well over hurdles stepping up in grade at Musselburgh to score last time, looks a good physical specimen; gives the yard a good chance of landing this again.
Fourth behind a couple of these rivals on his Taunton hurdles debut. Progressed since then to win at the third time of asking (hood removed). Travelled well (hand plenty in hand under a confident ride), not one to underestimate in this.
More experienced than some of these having already experienced and won in a handicap but off a 13lb lower mark (recording his second win over timber). Not disgraced in Grade 3 company last time but came up short; visor on first-time.
Looks the lesser of the two runners from this yard although he was a useful sort on the Flat who score first-time up over hurdles at Newbury. Showed something more like his winning form last time after a minor blip; this requires more again.
Left his previous hurdling efforts behind when scoring in a Cork novice (left clear at the last), where he jumped better than previously. Shaped better than the bare result in juvenile company last time (late error cost him); more needed.
Dual juvenile winner late last year taking back-to-back contests at Galway and Punchestown showing a professional attitude on both occasions. Ran poorly when last seen up in class (Grade 2) at Leopardstown; others have far stronger claims.
Fair Flat maiden who instantly bettered that form when scoring on his hurdling debut at Ludlow before being found out to a certain extent in better company. Stuck to his task well behind Thyme White last time (2lb better off for 2¼L beating).
Hereford juvenile winner in testing conditions on his hurdling debut surging clear to win by 11L. Easy to be sceptical about that form with his two subsequent starts (both in better grade) proving disappointing especially last time out at Haydock.
Yet to win over hurdles having had a rather chequered career over obstacles so far failing to complete on a couple of occasions. Improved without mishaps last time to take second in a big-field Leopardstown juvenile (finished well); capable of more.
Kept busy this season having already had seven hurdle starts, his two wins coming in handicap company both times against his elders. Gained course experience last time in December but not seen since then; battle-hardened, could outrun his odds.
French bumper winner who showed gradual progress on his first two hurdling starts prior to scoring on his third attempt over timber (switch to front-running appeared to suit). Found out in Listed company last time behind two of today's rivals.
Caught the eye on his hurdling debut when caught further back than ideal; made amends next time out in a lesser contest at Thurles by 8L. Ran well in defeat last time taking on his elders for the first-time; looks an ideal type for this test.
Juvenile hurdle winner at the fourth attempt on New Year's Eve reversing the form with one who beat him the time before (benefitted from a positive ride). Fourth when last seen (stablemate Aramax in third, improved since), others preferred.

This has been a hard puzzle for backers to solve with numerous big price winners although favourite Band Of Outlaws stopped the rot last year. Ireland (eight runners this year) have taken the last two renewals and Aramax is their obvious contender (beat Recent Revalatuons last time) this time although most fascinating of the Elliott quintet looks to be TRONADOR. He looks to have been kept for this after taking on his elders when last seen 53-days ago. Paul Nicholls is another trainer with history in this event and his duo of Mick Pastor and Thyme White enter the mix.
