Maiden hurdle winner at Clonmel last January and made a pleasing chase debut at Navan in November. No match for Chosen Mate on latest start over fences at Gowran Park in January but open to plenty of improvement in this contest.

Lightly raced Kalanisi gelding in the last couple of years. Well down the field on return to action following a 668 day break in a 2m hurdle at this venue last month. Others make more appeal on chasing debut.

Without a success in 16 starts over the larger obstacles. Best effort for sometime finishing second of the 11 runners in a Fairyhouse beginners contest last month. Strong claims, still holds an entry for the Grand Annual at the Cheltenham festival.

Last seen finishing a creditable sixth of 30 runners in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket in October. 123-rated handicap hurdler and should merit respect on chasing introduction.

Poor returns from four starts over hurdles including a dismal effort on handicap debut when last seen in December. Hard to make a case for on chasing and stable debut.
Running well in defeat in a couple of starts over hurdles in December and on chasing introduction in a Thurles beginners contest over 2m last month. May be capable of better still.

Winner of a point-to-point in April last year before a number of wretched efforts over hurdles since October. Chance if bringing point-to-point form to the table.
Six-race maiden who has improved in three starts over hurdles since December without getting his head in front. Others look more convincing as the Network gelding makes his chasing debut.

127-rated dual hurdler fifth on chase debut won by Grade 1 winner and Arkle favourite Notebook, before being no match for Sizing Pottsie and Dakota Moirette at Fairyhouse last month.

Capuccimix (2/5), Dakota Moirette (6/1), Great Trango (7/1), Chesterfield King (11/1), Thegoaheadman (12/1), Quantatmental (20/1), Fox Le Bel (22/1), A Different World (33/1), Pivotal Pursuit (66/1), An Marcach (100/1)

Verdict

The Henry De Bromhead-trained CAPUCCIMIX has a number of conditions in his favour here to be able to get off the mark over the larger obstacles at the fourth time of asking. The seven-year-old can build on his impressive runs behind Cash Back and Chosen Mate to get the better of the potential improver, Thegoaheadman for trainer Jessica Harrington. Dakota Moirette who still holds a number of entries at the Cheltenham festival next week can compete with Quantatmental and A Different World for the minor honours.
