In good form since joining this yard winning twice over 6f at Lingfield before losing her unbeaten record for this yard last time out over 7f. Had the run of the race on all three occasions and may do so again here; should give a good account.
Without a win since late-2017 even a stable change hasn't appeared to revive his fortunes although he shaped better thane the bare result last time over this trip at Kempton. Has an absence to overcome though, could well be vulnerable in this field.
Yet to win on the AW but by no means a forlorn hope on synthetics proving very consistent in this sphere (not out the first three in last five starts). Arguably unlucky last time when the race failed to go his way; should go well again.
Take out his first run for this yard and you have a very consistent AW performer with two Tapeta wins to his name at up to 7f. Unfortunate last time when not getting the run of the race; enters calculations if he gets a strong pace.
C&D winner but wouldn't have the same progression in him as some of these despite the fact he's slipped back below his last winning mark. Disappointed on Polytrack last time and not hard to think that he'll struggle to be competitive.
Fared better than he has of late last time out over further at Wolverhampton eased in grade and enjoying the run of the race. Still a while since he's been successful despite an easing mark and more needed to take a hand in this.
Suited by the return to 7f when recording his second course win in February producing his best effort for a while off a 5lb lower mark. Ran twice in two days when last seen (not seen to best effect latest); remains of interest despite rise in class.
C&D winner whose form has a rather uneven profile since he was last successful. Proved a big disappointment last time looking to have few excuses having reverted to more positive tactics at Kempton last time; others preferred.
Forecasts
Mount Wellington (15/8), True Belief (3/1), Royal Dynasty (7/1), Al Asef (7/1), Baltic Prince (11/1), Mochalov (12/1), Swissal (12/1), De Little Engine (28/1)
There’s every chance that Royal Dynasty will get another easy lead and positive tactics have seen her to really good advantage since joining this yard and her rivals won’t want to give her too much rope. TRUE BELIEF may be 0-10 on the AW but he’s been very consistent and he really deserves to have a race fall his way and this could be the one to do so having been just touched off at Kempton last time. Mount Wellington another recent runner-up is like the selection one who will come from off the pace and the quicker they go the better his chance. Swissal deserves a mention although the overriding feeling is that this rise in grade may just find him out.
- True Belief
- Royal Dynasty
- Mount Wellington
