Dansili gelding and a half-brother to Listed winner Let's Go. Well beaten when sent off at odds of 100/1 on both career starts so far with 18 months between the two.
Gelding by Arcadio out of a Supreme Leader mare. No impression before three out on debut at Navan last month, well beaten at odds of 100/1. No realistic chance in this contest.
Gelding by Al Namix. Improved from first run to second when finishing runner-up to Lord Royal on debut at this venue over 2m4f when last seen in January. Could well still have more to give.
Winner of a point-to-point at the third attempt in February last year. Never a factor in two maiden hurdle efforts so far in January and more recently at Naas last month. Hard to fancy.
Mastercraftsman gelding. Not seen since a couple of inept efforts on the Flat in August 2017. Hard to make a case for on hurdling debut following a long lay-off.
€100,000 as a three-year-old Stowaway gelding out of an Old Vic mare. Well held in a couple of bumper starts when last seen in November 2018. Market likely to be the best guide on hurdling debut representing respected connections.
Career best effort in the point-to-point ranks when third of 12 in January. Well behind on hurdling debut at Navan last month when found to be coughing post-race. Capable of a bold bid.
Winner of a couple of point-to-point starts in the last 12 month but well down the field on hurdling debut in a Punchestown maiden last month. Tough ask.
Well beaten in a couple of maiden hurdle contests at Navan since December, his first couple of starts in Ireland since joining from French connections. Hard to make a case for.
Son of High Chaparral out of an Elusive City mare. Needs to improve on disappointing debut at at Thurles when last seen in October. Faces a tough ask in this company.
Forecasts
Farmix (1/1), Peres Et Fils (7/2), Sunday A Paris (5/1), Ruinous (8/1), Groody Rover (11/1), Spanish Leather (16/1), Durity (50/1), Western Dreaming (66/1), Haaf Crafty (100/1), Early Spring (100/1)
Trainer Gavin Cromwell appears to have found an ideal opening for his five-year-old gelding RUINOUS to run a big race on just the second start for the yard. The gelding can build on a positive debut at Navan last month at the expense of both the Jessica Harrington-trained Peres Et Fils and Farmix for the Liz Doyle yard, who, although boasting impressive finishing positions, were beaten a long way on their latest starts.
- Ruinous
- Peres Et Fils
- Farmix
