Proving versatile of late having won on the AW prior to winning two of his last three hurdles starts. Scored in bloodless fashion when odds-on at Carlisle with all of his form having a solid look about it; looks a useful sort who has more to come.

Won on his sole starts in Irish point-to-points taking a maiden over 3m in yielding to soft conditions. Has potential for this sphere and the betting may tell us more from a yard that are having a good season.
Returns from a wind op having shaped as though he needed his first run over hurdles having shown some fair form in two bumper starts. Ought to be capable of better with surgery and some experience behind him.

Winning Irish pointer although his form in that sphere was mixed and his Rules form hardly excites. Started at big prices on both his starts so far with a fall and a 33L beating to his name; hard to build a case for.

Fairly useful sort on the Flat winning four times at up to 2m for Mark Johnston and clearly had plenty of issues ahead of returning from a long absence for this yard. Needed the run but folded quickly and he's plenty still to prove in this sphere.

Stable won this last year but look less likely to do so this time around with this mare who makes her hurdling debut. Better than she could show in her most recent start (poorly positioned); would need to find plenty of progress to make an impact.

Winner of a Musselburgh bumper on debut when with James Bethell and sold to this yard soon after. Failed to live up to her debut run in bumpers and over hurdles despite a wind op; hard to recommend.

Won three times on turf for Sir Mark Prescott with her last win coming off a mark of 80. Dam half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (2m3f winner) Gallic Destiny, only cost £3,500, could be a bargain if she can handle this ground for a yard going well.

Forecasts

Goobinator (2/5), Let The Heirs Walk (2/1), Piedita (7/2), Exelerator Express (5/1), Bushypark (14/1), Hello Bob (25/1), Ever So Cool (25/1), Tartan Bute (40/1), Rob Royal (100/1)

Verdict

Some of the contenders at bigger prices clearly hold some interest although any one of them would need to be smart to take this. Bushypark a point-to-point winner for the Phil Kirby yard is one of the most unexposed types in this while Exelerator Express fresh from a wind op must be respected along with hurdling debutante Piedita although she will have to prove she can handle conditions. Let The Heirs Walk showed that he could progress further when making the most of an easy opportunity at Sedgefield but on this occasion the progressive and versatile GOOBINATOR is preferred after his 10L win at Carlisle that win being franked by the Musselburgh win of the fourth on Thursday.
  1. Goobinator
  2. Let The Heirs Walk
  3. Bushypark
