Malachys Girl58
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: Luca Morgan(7)| T: B Pauling| OR:  109
11/1
Point-to-point winner a couple of seasons ago, not seen much since but better effort when fifth at Taunton on latest start; signs that yard are coming back to life after a poor season, should handle the ground, and this trip fine; has chances.
2
Horse silk
She's Ginab40
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: J McGrath| T: J W Mullins| OR:  109
33/1
Capable and knows how to win when the opportunity arises, but her last couple of efforts well below what she's capable of and she might just have gone off the boil for the time being. Trip and ground fine but needs to bounce back.
3
Horse silk
Rarest Diamondt37
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-11| J: Harry Kimber(7)| T: C L Tizzard| OR:  108| BF
25/1
Third in a mares maiden hurdle at Exeter two starts ago was a solid effort, but threw in a stinker when sent off favourite at Plumpton last time (with no explanation offered); ability is clearly there if she puts best foot forward, but is risky.

Seasearcht58
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-7| J: Thomas Doggrell(7)| T: C J Gray| OR:  104
100/1
Close fourth (on good ground) at Taunton last November is a decent effort, but it's his only one and he was well held back there last time out; probably wants better ground to show his best and others make more appeal on that.
5
Horse silk
High Up In The Air33
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-7| J: Joshua Moore| T: G & J Moore| OR:  104| BF| D
4/1
Beat Ede'iffs Elton by 9l at Plumpton back in December (11lb worse off here) and ran to that level when a close fifth at Huntingdon last time; trip and ground fine, is in form and has every chance of getting back on the scoresheet here.
6
Horse silk
Lake Shore Drivet1584
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-6| J: R T Dunne| T: J Farrelly| OR:  103
100/1
Stays well on the Flat, winner over 2m, and has tried 3m+ over hurdles already; however, not seen out since July 2018 and wants better ground than this, so can only really be watched today.
7
Horse silk
Lily The Pink36
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-6| J: Ben Godfrey(7)| T: A J Honeyball| OR:  103
7/2
Improved to win on handicap debut at Exeter last time out (well backed too), that despite being keen enough early on; can only improve on that handles heavy ground and should stay this trip, so one with a big chance today.
8
Horse silk
Arctic Footprint36
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-3| J: Sean Houlihan(3)| T: C J Down| OR:  100
16/1
Much better effort when stepped up markedly in trip at Exeter last time, finishing second to an improver; looks fairly handicapped on that, this small drop back in trip no issue and handles heavy, so has plenty going for her here.
9
Horse silk
Amzac Magic39
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-1| J: Nick Scholfield| T: Jack Barber| OR:  98| C
11/1
Winner here at Wincanton last March but hasn't gone on from that, although caught the eye when staying on late at Taunton last time; this mark probably workable and a bit of market support would make her even more interesting.
10
Horse silk
Ede'iffs Elton37
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-0| J: James Best| T: R Walford| OR:  97| BF
16/1
Did much better on handicap debut at Plumpton when staying on late for second, but disappointed when made favourite over same C&D on latest start and now needs to bounce back. Handles heavy and trip fine.
11
Horse silk
Fenlons Court31
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-13| J: Daniel Sansom(3)| T: J W Mullins| OR:  96| BF
10/1
Hard to win with (just once in 20 starts) but has now slipped to a good-looking mark and he ran a lot better when second at Fontwell last time; repeat of that under similar conditions today gives him every chance, but not one for the mortgage.
12
Horse silk
Mr Woolley18
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: N B King| OR:  95
25/1
No more than the merest glimpse of ability in seven starts so far, four in bumpers and three hurdles, and hard to see where even this modest handicap mark comes from; others make far more appeal.
13
Horse silk
Kestrel Valleyt27
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: Ben Jones(3)| T: M Sheppard| OR:  95
9/2
Ploughed through the mud to score easily at Lingfield two starts back but awfully disappointing at Ffos Las off the back of that last time, pulling up; hard to know what to expect here, and probably better to look elsewhere for the winner.
14
Horse silk
Highdawnp144
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-5| J: Mr M Legg(5)| T: Mrs F M Shaw| OR:  88
50/1
Not much to cheer so far but still early days, and it wasn't the worst of efforts when seventh in heavy ground at Lingfield last time; improvement is possible, and if that's the case, she holds an each-way chance.
15
Horse silk
Maasai Warrior19
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-4| J: Adrian Heskin| T: P Henderson| OR:  87
10/1
Has caught the eye a few times in novice hurdles and that was the case again last time when fifth in a handicap at Kempton, staying on late; there's a race in him off this mark and with conditions probably fine here, is worth watching in the market.
16
Horse silk
Dr Oakley33
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-3| J: James Davies| T: Henry Oliver| OR:  86
16/1
Looks modest and an early unseat at Huntingdon last time hardly helps his cause here; likely to want better ground to show his best as well, and not hard to look elsewhere for the winner here.

Forecasts

Lily The Pink (7/2), High Up In The Air (4/1), Kestrel Valley (9/2), Fenlons Court (10/1), Maasai Warrior (10/1), Amzac Magic (11/1), Malachys Girl (11/1), Dr Oakley (16/1), Ede'iffs Elton (16/1), Arctic Footprint (16/1), Rarest Diamond (25/1), Mr Woolley (25/1), She's Gina (33/1), Highdawn (50/1), Lake Shore Drive (100/1), Seasearch (100/1)

Verdict

High Up In The Air has a good chance on recent form and won't mind conditions, so looks the one to beat, but with some green shoots of recovery for Ben Pauling's yard MALACHYS GIRL might be worth chancing. She caught the eye at Taunton last time and better can be expected today. The race for places looks wide open, with cases to be made for Highdown, the improving Arctic Footprint and the in-form Lily The Pink. Maasai Warrior is worth a second look at a likely big price as well.
