Formerly decent handicap chase unlucky not to be unbeaten in both starts so far in this sphere. Looked in control when falling 2 out at Ludlow on hunter chase bow but made amends last time winning well at Haydock.
Stable companion of Alcala. Useful chaser in France but inauspicious British hunter chase bow when pulled up after racing far too freely at Warwcik last month. Won by country mile at Bangor latest and has every chance if he settles.
Fone course record of 4-8 when handicapping for Colin Tizzard. Left very distant second on debut for current yard in Ludlow hunter chase last month on first run for 288 days. More needed and has plenty to find on official figures.
Dual hurdles winner for Nigel Twiston-Davies but didn't show much in five start over fences. Debut for current yard having been third in 3m point last month and looks very much up against it in this company.

This looks more than likely to be a Paul Nicholls 1-2 but which way round? ALCALA is taken to edge out stable companion Bob And Co having won nicely in heavy ground at Haydock last week. Bob And Co doesn't look the easiest ride but won at Bangor latest after being left a long way clear and has a very experienced rider on board. Wizards Bridge looks best of the remaining trio.
