A maiden after eight starts and yet to hit the frame. Has shown ability in some of his races and ought to come on for his run at Southwell when outpaced last time out; step up in trip in his favour and wears first-time cheekpieces.
Returned to form in recent starts and ideally drawn for her preferred front running tactics here; a step back up in trip looks sure to suit but it's fair to say she's yet to show her best form on Tapeta.
C&D winner here in January and given little chance to follow up last time when ridden four-wide throughout. Doesn't get his head in front often (aforementioned win a first since 2017) and likely best opposed on that basis.
Only win in 27 starts came over slightly further at Newcastle this time last year. However, has been more than hinting at a return to form in his most recent two starts and now 13lb below last year's winning mark.
Gained a first AW win in 11 attempts when winning at Newcastle last time and escapes a penalty for that success. Perhaps a pace collapse that day and not guaranteed to follow up (yet to win over further than 1m).
Better on AW than turf but really struggling with leaving the stalls in most of his recent starts and hard to fancy, despite a nice looking mark.
Sole success in 12 starts came over C&D for Mark Johnston 11 months ago but shown virtually nothing since, including debut for this yard here last time; best watched for now, despite a 15lb lower mark than for his last success.
Both wins have come on turf but has shown promise in a couple of AW outings since joining this yard and missing all of 2019; step up in trip could suit and he has place claims.
Failed to justify favouritism at Dundalk last time out but that was on the back of a promising performance at the venue when runner-up (denied clear run); form done no favours though and she has a poor strike-rate (1-17 on Flat).
Forecasts
Traveller (7/2), Double Reflection (7/2), Thawry (5/1), Noble Account (11/2), Pretty Little Liar (17/2), Warrior's Spirit (10/1), Zeshov (12/1), Amor Fati (16/1), Rock Up In Style (40/1)
Anthony Brittain has two live chances in this race and while jockey Cam Hardie is likely to have had the choice of both, the second string THAWRY perhaps looks more interesting. His strike-rate is not at all impressive but his sole success did come on Tapeta and he's been giving the impression he's well-handicapped on recent runs. Pretty Little Liar is an interesting Irish raider but Double Reflection could be the main danger, particularly if she gets an easy time of things from the front.
