C&D winner in a slightly better grade off a 1lb lower mark in the summer of 2018 she followed up with a Newmarket 6f dead-heat (not won since). Shown some fair form since in better grades; disappointed over 7f last time (unproven at trip); chance.
All of his five wins have come on the AW over 5f/6f with his last success being the brought about by a drop to 0-55 company. Shaped well in two 5f handicaps since on Tapeta/Polytrack; second to an in-form type last time; sure to be involved again.
Very lightly-raced sort for her age who could well step forward from her modest efforts in minor company now that she goes handicapping. Still unexposed and interesting that connections have kept faith; may benefit from this return to 6f.
Back to winning ways from an easing mark with a visor back on when scoring over C&D in similar company (did very little when hitting the front). Ran well again last time over C&D (second); still on a good mark, one for the shortlist.
Non-runner on six of his last eight intended starts he's the type to pop up in an event like this having tumbled in the weights with a return to 6f sure to suit. Only one maiden win to his name so hardly a sound proposition; interesting if supported.
Fair handicapper who ran well over C&D under an inexperienced rider on his last start for Clive Cox (behind Perfect Symphony). Well below form on his first start for this yard over 7f; needs to bounce back with Jo Gordon taking over from apprentices.
Course winner over 7f taking advantage of a much-reduced mark; remained well treated but has yet to reproduce that last winning form. Well below form over C&D last time; overall; he's not one to be making excuses for, others appeal more.
Yet to win for this yard with his form for them having a rather uneven pattern. Well backed last time when running off his last winning mark (51) he ran creditably without looking a winner waiting to happen; this looks a tougher test.
C&D winner but is now a poor handicapper on an extensive losing sequence having not won since July 2017. Tried over 7f last time (unproven at trip) he looks out of sorts currently and faces a tough task here making very limited appeal.

Forecasts
Mont Kiara (7/2), Nautical Haven (4/1), Perfect Symphony (9/2), Nampara (9/2), Vincenzo Coccotti (11/2), Equipped (10/1), Alaskan Bay (12/1), Fareeq (14/1), Hit The Beat (14/1), Disruptor (16/1), Burauq (50/1)
This looks to have a little more depth than the first division of this modest sprint handicap. The solid handicap form comes in the shape of PERFECT SYMPHONY who goes well for 7lb claimer Oliver Stammers having won and come second in his last two C&D starts. Nampara can’t be ruled out in this company, she’ll prove well suited by the return to this trip and along with the consistent Fareeq looks one of the main dangers to the selection. There are one or two lurking in the wings here like Equipped (looks unexposed) and Nautical Haven who should be noted if there are strong market vibes he’s off a very attractive mark over this trip.
- Perfect Symphony
- Fareeq
- Nampara
