Failed to land a hat-trick of wins at Leopardstown over Christmas. Winner of four of her seven starts over hurdles the mare holds an entry in the Grade 1 Mares' hurdle at the Cheltenham festival.
Solid record over hurdles winning three of her eight starts proceeding to hit the frame on a further two occasions. No impression when brought down on latest start at Leopardstown earlier this month. Plenty to prove in this company.
Winner of two of her 10 starts over hurdles but recent evidence suggests the daughter of Beneficial could be vulnerable at this level.
Returns over timber following a futile couple of efforts over the larger obstacles. Holds some fancy entries at the Cheltenham festival and sets a high standard in this contest.
Won for the second time over hurdles landing a Leopardstown 2m2f handicap hurdle earlier this month. Big ask but worthy of consideration if the subject of market interest.
Forecasts
Laurina (11/8), Elfile (6/4), Black Tears (4/1), Surin (20/1), Emily Moon (25/1)
The 159-rated daughter of Spanish Moon, LAURINA should get back to winning ways here as the seven-year-old returns to hurdling. The Willie Mullins-trained mare was last seen tailing off before being pulled up at Sandown earlier this month but can see off the attentions of stablemate, Elfie who is rated 17lb lower than the selection. The Gordon Elliott pair, Black Tears and Surin can compete for remaining prize money.
- Laurina
- Elfile
- Black Tears
