Debut was a promising effort but was readily eclipsed when the gelding justified strong support over an extended 7f on Tapeta at Wolverhampton in December. That was a decisive victory and it's hard to say how much he had in hand; a big player here.
Ran with promise on turf last summer but not seen since August and tries the AW fort the first time. Also has a new trip to tackle and has to be a concern that his yard has been quiet lately. (Gelded since last seen.)
A €90,000 purchase who overcame a slow start to finish with a rattle at Kempton last month. He's sure to be wiser and, even though he was given a tender introduction from the saddle, he looks a sure-fire improver. One to seriously consider.
Cost 85,000 gns; he's out of an extended 1m1f winner on the AW and indications from pedigree suggest the surface won't cause too many problems. Yard started 2020 in good form; another to bear in mind despite the lack of experience.
Cost just £600 and was well beaten in both starts so far. The drop in trip might initiate a bit of improvement but the filly still makes limited appeal on the evidence available.
From an in-form yard that does well with this type of individual and it's not uncommon for them to have a winning debutante. Possible this filly will come into her own when granted a sterner test of stamina though.
Another from an in-form yard (one that knows her family well) and is introduced over a trip which should be fine; her dam won over this trip but she's a half-sister to a 1m2f/1m4f winner, so has plenty of options. Should benefit from the run.
