Golden Horn colt from a 1m Listed US turf winner; cost 200,000gns as a foal; made a very pleasing start to his racing career when vainly chasing home Roger Varian's Union here (7f) last month.
Muhaarar colt; demonstrated clear signs of inexperience on debut at Kempton (1m) when finishing only ninth of 13 to the Charlie Appleby-trained Ya Hayati; is bred for a longer trip (half-brother to the 1m3f-1m4f AW winner Guroor).
£17,000 yearling, £30,000 juvenile; 11th foal from a 1m2f winning dam (Scarpe Rosse); half-brother to two winners, namely the 1m3f AW scorer Cast of Stars.
Dubawi gelding; sets the standard on turf form; runner-up on two occasions at Newmarket (1m), including when reeled in (beaten ½L) by the Ralph Beckett-trained Mascat; trainer has a 43% strike-rate (13-30) on the AW at Newcastle.
Twice raced Makfi gelding (€4,000 yearling) who is surely just marking time until exploring the handicapping route; was well beaten by a stablemate of Discovery Island (Al Maysan) here recently.
Footstepsinthesand colt (€55,000 foal); ninth foal from an unraced daughter of the 1m Grp 2 winner Magic Gleam; half-brother to four winners including Sub Rose (1m4f Grp 3) and Astonishing (1m4f Listed); certainly a noteworthy debutant.

Yes My Boy is a noteworthy debutant for Archie Watson while John Gosden's Cemhaan should fare better than on debut at Kempton, but the form standard is set by Blow Your Horn and DISCOVERY ISLAND. The Charlie Fellowes-trained Golden Horn colt made a very pleasing start to his racing career here (7f) last month when sticking on nicely behind Union (turned over at short odds last week). However, such is the exceptional strike-rate of Charlie Appleby-trained runners on the AW at Newcastle (13-30; 43%) his Dubawi gelding gets the nod.
