Not seen since winning a point last spring. Has previously been smart at his best, although has both a bit to prove on heavy ground and also after a break. Market check suggested.
Was making steady progress before breaking her duck at Doncaster (2m3f, soft) last time, against her own sex. Made all there, so hard to pick holes in the form and she has claims again here, despite an 8lb rise.
Won this race in 2017 and placed in it for the last two seasons. Merits plenty of respect on that basis alone, and while she is 3lb higher than her best win, she is not ruled out of the money again.
Relishes testing ground, as evidence by his Lingfield win (2m, heavy; career-best) in December. Not quite as good here last time, but these conditions suit better, and if he can see this out he has each-way claims.
Scored at Fontwell (2m5f, good to soft) in first-time tongue-tie in handicap company last February, when 11lb lower. Ran well next time at Wincanton, but not seen since. Yet to show his best when fresh, but in good hands and can't rule him out.
Not at his best the last twice. Scored over 2m (soft) at Taunton 11-months ago, and is just 2lb higher than that here. Not written off now dropping back in trip but clearly a bit for him to prove.
Showed promise at Sandown (2m, heavy) on his debut in November, but yet to kick on from there. Well beaten on his handicap debut at Kempton latest, and not easy to make a case for despite 4lb drop.
Has won twice under this pilot already this season, at Fakenham (2m) and Sedgefield (2m1f, soft). 9lb rise found him out at Market Rasen last time, when a different jockey was up. Drops 1lb but now a bit to prove despite return of successful pilot.
Multiple hurdle winner but now well over three years since the last of them. Better off last time when runner-up at Ffos Las, after a spell in the doldrums, but probably playing for places at best again.
Went close from today's mark at Leicester in December (1m7f, heavy) but well beaten in better races twice since. Cheekpieces now tried for the return to this grade, and not ruled out back at a venue where he is a triple winner.

Forecasts
Hawthorn Cottage (10/3), Paricolor (4/1), Ostuni (4/1), Darebin (13/2), Sirop De Menthe (7/1), Shaw's Cross (7/1), Darkest Day (8/1), Ding Ding (12/1), Chill Factor (16/1), The Game Is A Foot (18/1), Marmont (25/1)
An open look to this, with Chill Factor of interest at this level, The Game Is A Foot a proven winner here who could be reinvigorated by cheekpieces, and Paricolour respected, but vulnerable after recent rises in the weights. Ostuni could make an impact, but preference is for HAWTHORN COTTAGE, who might be capable of defying an 8lb rise against the boys.
