Three-time C&D winner won his last race here by 6L in July. Struggled with much higher marks since but this his first time back here so now re-enters the equation.
Landed a four-timer here last season but poor form of late with three double-digit length defeats coming into this make him hard to fancy.
Long losing run stretches back to May 2018 and tailed off last nine days ago on stable debut removes any hope.
1m Chelmsford winner beaten just over 1L into fourth at Lingfield last time out off this mark. In good form so respected despite a bad draw.
C&D winner in August comes here after close thirds again over C&D and over 1m2f at Lingfield the last twice. Looks set to make another bold bid.
Had three trainers since start of 2019 but none able to revive him and hard to fancy after another ordinary run last time out.
Long-standing maiden ran several good races on turf last summer but has so far been a shadow of that form since moving to the AW.
C&D winner also won four times here over 7f. Unplaced in last nine races however so enthusiasm now on the wane.
Lightly raced maiden ran one of his best races so far when third over 1m1½f here last time out. That gives him a squeak and the fact that he gets 2lb back boosts him further.
Won twice in 2018 but very hit and miss since and arrives on a long layoff since lifeless effort at Bath in May.
Twice placed for Jessie Harrington and although only midfield in two runs for this yard last summer he is one worth noting in the market here after a break.
Nine-time winner an upset scorer at Newbury In July who ran well here next before losing his way with four ordinary efforts. Needs a revival here.
C&D winner on his only previous crossing of the Irish Sea and ran quite respectably since when sixth at Dundalk. Big player here off bottom weight.
Forecasts
Tio Esteban (11/4), Undercolours (5/1), Enzo (5/1), Critical Thinking (7/1), Elhafei (8/1), Allux Boy (14/1), Rock Icon (16/1), Street Poet (16/1), J'ouvert (25/1), Bar Room Bore (33/1), Abel Tasman (33/1), Aqua Libre (40/1), Misu Pete (80/1)
The two Irish trained runners both make plenty of appeal here with preference for C&D scorer TIO ESTEBAN ahead of Bar Room Bore whose turf form last summer catches the eye. Ultra-consistent sort Enzo looks sure to make his presence felt once more.
- Tio Esteban
- Bar Room Bore
