Landed a classified event here (6f) in October but form has been moderate since, including in first-time cheekpieces most recently. Headgear dispensed with and drops back to 5f, which may be on the sharp side.
Veteran who is not the force of old but has run a number of creditable races since last win at Goodwood in May 2018. On a career low mark but will do well to exploit that from his wide draw.
12-race maiden who wore cheekpieces for the first time when third over C&D last time. Has run well in defeat of late, including when beaten just a neck at Southwell in November. Decent chance if able to reproduce any of that form again.
Both career wins came as a juvenile at Yarmouth (6f) for previous handler James Tate; has eased 40lb in the weights since October 2018; slowly away when sixth at Southwell on Tuesday and others are more persuasive.
Maiden who is yet to take advantage of tumbling handicap mark and was only staying on the same pace when fourth of 11 in 5f handicap here nine days ago. Mark has fallen again and may be of interest soon.
Maiden who tends to race close to the pace but has showed little in her races to date. Fourth at Kempton (6f) after a long break in October but reverted to type back there shortly afterwards and hasn't been seen since.
Has a number of placed efforts to her name but still yet to win after 17 attempts. Has struggled for consistency and it will do very well to get her head in front on this occasion.
Poor handicapper with a career record that reads 1-28 that win coming over 6f at Kempton (October 2018). Fails to impress given her recent form, others appeal more.
Hasn't been first past the post since March 2016 (awarded a race at Chelmsford last year). Two of his better runs in 2019 were at Chelmsford too, including when fourth two starts ago, but isn't the most consistent.
Showed his best form over C&D when making the frame on consecutive starts in the autumn, including on handicap debut. Visor replaces cheekpieces after a poor run on the Fibresand but will be happier back here and gets 15lb age allowance.
0-7 so far makes limited appeal on the evidence available. The first time blinkers made little difference last time and hard to recommend.
Forecasts
Blackcurrent (7/4), Glamorous Force (7/1), Murqaab (8/1), Kyllukey (8/1), Autumn Splendour (9/1), Alba Del Sole (10/1), Englishman (10/1), Red Allure (16/1), Sharrabang (16/1), Parker's Boy (20/1), Carla Koala (40/1)
After showing a little bit of form over C&D last year, GLAMOROUS FORCE should appreciate the return to this venue after a poor run on the Fibresand last time. He's only had five starts and is still open to improvement. Blackcurrent has been holding her form well of late at a low level and can be involved whilst Murqaab ran a little better over C&D last time and is best of the rest.
