Followed up his win in a Carlisle bumper in November with a pleasing second of 14 beaten 9L on hurdling debut at Tramore over 2m on soft ground earlier this month. Another bold effort likely.
Bumper winner 12 months ago the gelding has been running with plenty of credit in a number of maiden hurdles including when last seen on St Stephens day at Down Royal finishing second of the 12 runners.
By Getaway out of a Moscow Society mare. Poor form in the point-to-point field was rubber stamped by a dismal effort on hurdling debut in a Clonmel maiden on heavy ground earlier this month.
Best effort in bumpers when second of 19 to Festival d'Ex in Goffs Land Rover Bumper at Punchestown in April. Needs to improve on a couple of hurdling starts since October to get involved here.
No luck in three bumper starts prior to a wretched effort when pulled up three out on hurdling debut at Limerick on heavy ground last month. First time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Nothing of note in three career point-to-point starts. Struggled to get competitive on hurdling debut at Cork earlier this month and difficult to fancy on this occasion.
Already has a couple of feeble efforts to his name since his hurdling debut earlier this month. Stablemate of Quarry Rebel is unlikely to be troubling the judge.
Finishing position appears to be better than the run when third of 11 beaten 31L on a second start over hurdles last month. Not in the form required to play a part.
Gelding by Urban Poet out of a Be My Guest mare. Well held when never a factor in three dismal starts over hurdles in May and June of last year.
Weakening when falling two out in a Navan 2m4f maiden hurdle on soft ground last month. Improvement needed if he is to be involved in this event.

Winner of a Carlisle bumper in November, ARCADIAN SUNRISE failed to land a blow on the impressive Saint Roi on hurdling debut at Tramore earlier this month but can get off the mark here in an easier contest. The six-year-old finished ¾L and 7½L ahead of third and fourth in the 14 runner contest and can get the better of three-race maiden Behind The Curtain who has been running well in defeat in a number of career starts over hurdles. The Jessica Harrington-trained Wingin A Prayer is capable of a big run if jumping fluently looks next best while Whatsnotoknow can go well at a price.
- Arcadian Sunrise
- Behind The Curtain
